08/12/2024: Lunch break on a work day, nice and tastefully furnished place in refined rural style. I took the pizza with broccoli and sausage, good and digestible: thin with a puffy Neapolitan-style edge.
The kind and attentive staff make you feel at ease.
I had already been here a few years ago and I had good memories of it which was confirmed on this occasion. I'll be back!

Attentive and formal service.
It seems to have returned to the old days where there is the elegance of the waiter, courtesy and education.
18/11/2024: I found this place while searching online for a quick lunch. Too bad only for the scaffolding which almost prevents you from identifying it. The owner welcomed us with an old-fashioned kindness, entertained us with stories about the history of the place and recommended us for an excellent lunch and good wine. The desserts are also very good. Honest prices. I will definitely return if passing through as happened today.

17/08/2024: Huge pub, in the east of Vicenza. Friendly and approachable staff. The menu is very varied, ranging from classic brewery dishes to grilled meat and pizzas. The environment is very beautiful, although in my opinion it is starting to feel the weight of a few more years. I will definitely go to drink and eat again at The Big, as I had a great time in terms of quality and portions.

An environment suitable for all ages, for families and friends, for those who want to play padel (unfortunately the roof is a little low) or beach volleyball (covered courts in winter) all year round and then relax with a drink by the lake in summer . Or listen to a conference, participate in numerous parties and initiatives, organize a birthday or a company party... nothing is missing! Perhaps the parking needs to be improved, especially on busy evenings.
Whether you like sports or want to spend a cheerful evening, this place 5 minutes from the chaos of the city is what you need!

Be careful to bring mosquito repellent because it is full of sandflies.

*Update. Reply a year later. With a much different treatment, much better.
Appetizer of cold cuts, mixed grill and various side dishes in suitable portions, as God commands.
I also underline the beautiful presence of the girls who served, which doesn't hurt.
One more star overall. More than deserved.

I also doubt the hygiene, considering that from the room you can clearly see the cook fixing her hair without washing her hands and spreading the stracchino with her fingers.

12/08/2024: Nice pastry shop that fortunately still makes the pastries of the past. The pastry is delicious and the custard fresh and light.
25/06/2024: I ate a Macchiatone at the counter and took a takeaway cream cannoli, total €4.90; yesterday at approximately 7:00 am.
To be safe, I asked the manager to redo my bill... I think there is an error.....
I recommend more efficient staff.
