02/09/2025: We chose Alla Pergola restaurant as our wedding venue. From our first conversation with Pietro, we knew it was the perfect place for us and our special day.
Professionalism, friendliness, attention to detail, and exceptional quality were the perfect ingredients to make our day unforgettable.
Another, and not to be taken for granted, aspect was Pietro's willingness to recommend other professionals, from DJs to children's entertainment.
Last but not least, the feedback from our guests: they were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail, the organization, the quality of the food and drinks, and the kindness of the staff.
We can only recommend Alla Pergola restaurant to anyone looking to spend a special day.
22/07/2025: We got married on July 20 (2025), and this wonderful location welcomed us, the newlyweds, and our guests.
We chose the complete package (which also included chauffeured car service), and it was worth it because, gastronomically, everyone was satisfied, from the appetizers outside to the dessert buffet, thanks to the almost tailor-made attention of the Fantastica kitchen.
We also had guests with intolerances, allergies, and celiac disease, and they also received all the attention they needed.
Despite the timing being earlier than expected during the planning phase, the restaurant was ready and running immediately upon our guests' arrival.
The islands were well-prepared and well-managed by the waiters.
After some initial hesitation, we added the barbecue island, which we recommend because everyone loved it.
Ours was also a wedding with 30 children, ranging in age from 2 to 15. The outdoor green space, the large yet shallow pool, and the playground made the day more relaxed and unforgettable for the little ones, but also for their parents, who almost forgot about them until it was time to change, because they had all gotten into the pool! (They had been notified 🤭, and in fact, some even had three changes of clothes or their swimsuits!! 😂).
Not only did the children take advantage of the pool, but also some adults (including the bride and groom 🤭) to cool off on a particularly hot day.
Special mention goes to Pietro, the restaurant owner, who supported us from the beginning with the utmost professionalism and care: starting six months in advance, suggesting professionals for the music, flowers, photography, etc., all the way to choosing the wines to pair with the dishes, setting the tables, and organizing the day's schedule.
We'd also like to thank the chef and the kitchen for guiding us in choosing the menu, based on seasonality and our tastes, making our wedding one-of-a-kind, even from a culinary perspective.
So, would we recommend Ristorante alla Pergola?
With our eyes closed, a resounding YES.

31/05/2025: Simply spectacular... impeccable service and extraordinary food quality! We were welcomed with extreme kindness after ordering and were offered excellent fried pumpkin! Crepes with leek, speck and pink pepper, gargati with tastasal, porchetta (very good) and sliced pork! .. they served us with great care and kindness... at the end... house liqueur offered! The surprise is then in the price... very honest for the generous portions of the dishes! I highly recommend! Compliments

05/07/2025: July 4, 2025, my husband and I got married and we chose this location for the reception, lunch, photos and party .... It was amazing !!!!! Wonderful place and the organization was perfect. Thank you Laura for the day and Filippo for the evening, you looked after us very well! Happy guests and we ate and drank splendidly!!!!!! We highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!❤

01/09/2025: We dined at this “fine dine restaurant” at the Villa Serbelloni expecting it to blow our minds. To our dismay, the food was well below average and the price far above. To start with, we ordered a fish tartare which was fine and the drinks (very avg negroni). The disappointment came in when we requested the waiter to order vegetarian dishes. They had nothing vegetarian except for a measly “gourmet onion”. Paying 35-30€ for an onion appetiser felt criminal but well we had no options . For the mains, they waited confirmed he would serve us pesto pasta. I was expecting a top notch pesto doused in fresh flavours and nutty flavours but the it turned out to be quite the opposite- bland, underwhelming and an absolute disaster. How an an Italian fine dine ruin pesto is beyond me. It was so bad that I’ve had better pesto at take away late night fast food joints costing a fraction of this price.
What surprised me even more is when we gave this feedback to the waiter and he was indifferent!
The views are overrated and the drinks are average at best. If you want to experience fine dine with a beautiful view of lake como, I suggest booking a meal at Albori at Belvedere. We went there for lunch and while the food was not outstanding, the service was fantastic (what you’d expect from a fine dine), views were spectacular and the drinks were the best thing about the meal!
25/08/2025: An absolutely perfect dinner at La Goletta!
As a celiac, I'm always a little apprehensive when I go to a restaurant, but here I felt completely reassured and pampered. The staff were remarkably attentive, answering all my questions and ensuring that each dish was perfectly adapted to my needs.
The dinner was not only safe for me, but also delicious—refined flavors, fresh produce, and impeccable presentation. You can feel the passion and professionalism of the entire team, from the kitchen to the dining room.
A huge thank you to all the staff for their kindness, availability, and remarkable work. I highly recommend La Goletta in Bellagio, both for the quality of the cuisine and the genuine attention paid to its customers.

02/09/2025: We've never been treated so poorly in our lives. We had our dog with us, and there was a sign outside saying dogs are welcome. The look on their faces spoke volumes. We were definitely not welcome! At one point, we were asked for drinks. Food was only requested after my daughter got up and pointed out to the waitress that we would also like to order food. The dog was treated kindly by all the guests. Only the staff behaved disastrously. The pizza was burnt. We've never experienced such an unprofessional pizzeria and will definitely not visit this place again. Absolutely not recommended!
31/08/2025: We'd known this pizzeria for a long time and had fond memories of it: excellent pizza, friendly staff, and an authentic Neapolitan atmosphere. Unfortunately, our recent return proved to be a huge disappointment.
As soon as we entered, we noticed that the staff and pizza chef had changed. The pizza, once the flagship of the place, no longer lived up to the quality we remembered: different dough, less refined flavor, and overall lower quality.
To make the experience worse, several problems arose:
• POS out of order, resulting in inconvenience when paying
• Draft beer out
• Breadsticks offered but never arrived
• Coffee served with pods, good but unprofessional for a place that aspires to maintain certain standards
• Pizzas arrived one at a time, without any coordination
The place and menu remain the same, but management has clearly changed—and unfortunately, not for the better. We had high expectations based on past experiences, but we left with a bitter taste in our mouths. What a shame, really.

I don't want to add anything else. I hope they'll be able to fix this over time and find excellent value for money.
18/08/2025: Unfortunately, it was a bad experience. We ordered mozzarella and fries, but only 12 ice cubes arrived. We moved on to pizzas, and after about thirty minutes, the first one arrived. After another fifteen, the second one. We had to decide whether to eat two hot pizzas on their own or one hot and one cold one. It's a shame, a place with good potential but disappointing results.
