What really pissed me off was seeing pre-cut slices presented, but with no option to take anything other than a whole tray...we're travelers who take lots of small portions.
The taste is good, but not 5-star.

15/02/2026: I frequented the restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner, of which I only treasure the welcome aperitif and the politeness of the waitresses.
Considering the cost of the evening, €120, I would call it a terrible experience, certainly my worst in a restaurant.
The dishes went from being saltless, like the risotto, to so salty as to be inedible, like the cod.
The soy sauce that was supposed to marinate the salmon was nonexistent, and the dessert was tasteless.
I also gave a bad rating for the cooking, both the rice and the pasta.
I like going out to eat, eating well, and paying for quality. But that evening was lacking.
Let's leave gourmet cuisine to those who truly know how to do it and stay true to our roots if we don't have the skills to change.
Spending that money and eating so poorly still bothers us a month later!
21/01/2026: Unfortunately I can't give an opinion on the lunch I had today, January 21st 26th, because they ask me about the room and location, but I have to say that having lunch here was a great experience, everything 5 stars, fixed menu, I would say the risotto with raboso and sausage was excellent, excellent chicken breast, you have grilled chicken with peas, good and for me when they put you on a fixed menu, the water in a glass bottle always has an extra point, I recommend it, kind and helpful staff, very welcoming place

12/06/2025: Entrando qui senti il fascino delle vecchie osterie degli anni 60/70.
Le proposte gastronomiche sono stuzzicanti e si capisce che c'è uno chef in cucina assai capace.
Anche i vini ed i dolci sono davvero apprezzabili. Una bella riscoperta. Bravi!
20/05/2025: Osteria tipica e carina...penso 35-40 posti a sedere. Arrivati 20.30, prese ordinazioni 21.15. Stesso tempo per avere il vino. Antipasti arrivato 22.30 e secondi alle 23.
Terminata la cena 23.45. Slow food ok ma così è troppo slow. Cibo ottimo, ma non ci tornerò per il servizio. Conto sopra la media. Peccato.

Personale squisitamente gentile e cibo buono, preparato con ingredienti freschi e genuini, accompagnato da una selezione di vini interessanti della loro cantina che il Sig. Acquilino sa consigliarne la scelta, per esaltare al meglio le pietanze. Esperienza davvero piacevole.
31/03/2025: Smartbox cena con pernottamento e colazione. A cena le portate le ho dovute scegliere da un menù diverso, un menù per Smartbox. La camera datata e rumorosa, non sono riuscito ad avere un sonno come avrei desiderato. A colazione ho chiesto se c'era qualcosa di salato e dopo aver ricevuto un secco e deciso no dal proprietario, sempre gentile e sorridente, gli ho pagato 2€ per una caraffa d'acqua più 5€ per un quarto di vino della casa, ho salutato e mi sono dovuto andare a cercare un bar per la colazione. Come utente Smartbox mi sono sentito un cliente di terz'ordine.

22/03/2025: Posto molto rustico e accogliente. Buon cibo (abbiamo ordinato un galletto e un piatto osteria, con gulash, polenta e funghi) e ovviamente ottime birre artigianali. Non amo la birra, ma la cameriera ha saputo consigliarmi bene e ho apprezzato. Giusto il prezzo. Consigliato.
14/03/2025: Locale molto bello, dotato sia di spazio interno che esterno per l’estate.
Si mangia molto bene: ottima birra e piatti ben fatti.

24/04/2025: Tutto ottimo e abbondante....ci sono venuta anche un mesetto fa e ho la riconferma della eccellenza della qualità soprattutto e anche del prezzo .. che ci permette di poter uscire a cena anche con la famiglia senza dover fare mutuo!😜
