27/11/2025: A mountain retreat just a few kilometers from the sea! Hostaria Il Paiolo boasts a spacious and airy atmosphere, all in wood, decorated with mountain images and featuring CAI trail markers. The dining room is informal and welcoming, but above all... the food is excellent! The portions are tasty, generous, and the prices are absolutely affordable. The spaetzle and canederli are a must-try, but the meat dishes are also worth a visit. It's also worth a visit in October, when the restaurant hosts a weekly Oktoberfest evening worthy of Bavaria! The staff is friendly and courteous, but never intrusive. Definitely worth the trip to Porto Viro! Well done!

26/11/2025: When you're longing for lunch in a mountain cabin... no need to wait for the holidays. Here's a Tyrolean restaurant in the Po Delta, with original recipes, quality ingredients, and friendly, helpful service. Not to be missed.

27/12/2025: I think it's okay for drinks and cured meats, but not for dinner. We had two first courses with subpar ravioli and overcooked rice, and pasta with stracotto that tasted like it had been recooked twice and was also bad for me. Personally, I won't be going back.

12/10/2025: Often the staff is more busy cleaning and preparing tables for people who are not there than taking orders from those who have arrived and are waiting to be served

10/10/2025: Let's just say our expectations were high, but they were partially disappointed. The waitress was kind, but some items on the menu weren't available because they were cleaning the fryer! But they did bring us fried gnocchi with our appetizer (which arrived very late). 🤔 Grilled vegetables were not available. The grilled meat was good, but neither good nor bad. The price, in my opinion, was too expensive for what we ordered.

07/09/2025: The rooms are simple yet well-maintained. They don't have the usual chipboard furniture, but rather wooden furniture and wrought-iron beds. The rooms vary in size, as this hotel is housed in a converted farmhouse. The bathrooms are clean and a good size. The property, in my opinion, is very beautiful. It is nestled in the Porto Levante lagoon with a garden and private parking. For those who need or desire tranquility and silence, this place is perfect. The property is also well-maintained and well-maintained. The staff is friendly. It is located close to the long embankment and just a few minutes from the Via delle Valli, so it also offers opportunities for walking or cycling. Nearby restaurants are within walking distance, so you don't need to drive. The location is very beautiful. You can enjoy the stunning sunsets and the passing flocks of flamingos and other birds that inhabit these areas. The breakfast is good, with the option of ordering cappuccinos or other beverages as desired. I especially recommend it to those who need to unwind and enjoy a few days of relaxation. The photo of the river is not taken from the structure itself, but from the long embankment in front of it.

03/09/2025: Clean and well-kept environment, a very welcoming pastry shop where I went this morning for breakfast. I ordered, ate at the table, and, noticing how good the croissants were, I decided to take a couple home. I went to the register to pay, mentioning that I wanted more to go. One of the girls at the counter replied that "she can't give them to me because they have a hard time with the other people who have to eat inside the shop." However, noticing my shocked expression, they tried to accommodate me by giving me the ones they had ordered. Once I paid, I realized that there was a sign on the counter that said "Due to the difficulty due to high demand, takeout orders must be placed the day before." NO COMMENT. For 3 more croissants. Not 15. A good thing, for a place that provides this type of service and where there's a high demand when needed, would be to better organize the quantities to offer customers the day before, perhaps.

15/11/2025: For the first time and also the last, I tried this take-out pizzeria, they replaced an ingredient on the pizza because they didn't have it in house, increasing the price, higher than the list price, I didn't find the pizza good at all, in fact the dough was chewy....

18/09/2025: Daniele is finally back with his wonderful pizza! My favorite in Porto Viro.
