24/04/2025: Returned after years, but it is always wonderful and very important, you eat genuine food.
30/03/2025: We celebrated our son's confirmation; everything was perfect from the delicious and abundant aperitif to the food served with attention and a smile....and then all the guests were very happy for the wedding favors made with local asparagus. Thanks to Maurizio and all the staff for the wonderful evening.

30/04/2025: At Battiston, you will find the real trattoria with home-made and local flavours. Today's lunch confirmed our first impression from a few months ago. The menu offers a selection of dishes prepared with care and skill which recall, in the flavors and abundance of the portions, the family lunches of many years ago.
The good red served was also to our liking.
This restaurant will become a fixed stop on our visits to this area.
Recommended.

01/04/2025: I ordered their Giorgione flour online, a truly special flour for those who are passionate and curious bakers. They prepared everything for same-day collection. Ca' de Memi is a farm with a very particular location almost in the middle of the small town of Piombino Dese. The house is very cute with a nice courtyard, with their rare breed chickens just a stone's throw away. The sisters and staff were very kind, answering various questions we had with enthusiasm. Would have to try their agriturismo! It is a typical motorcycle of the area but particular for their production choices. Highly recommended!

02/12/2024: I ordered pizza which arrived in 5 minutes directly from the adjacent takeaway pizzeria, via a service opening. Excellent and well-filled pizza
10/11/2024: Very nice place with well-kept furnishings and proposals, with trained and friendly staff. Excellent background music is always present, they occasionally organize evenings with DJ sets, and show the matches on a large internal screen.
There is also a large covered outdoor area with tables and chairs.
Excellent possibility to order pizzas (made from the pizzeria next door) and consume them at the bar, among other things very good pizzas.
Super recommended!

20/05/2025: Ottima la pizza con pasta sottile come piace a me...inoltre si può gustare panini caldi farciti.... Club sandwich... Bruschette..sfiziosi Fritti .. Vasta scelta di birre......il locale interno è molto bello e lo spazio creato all'aperto è proprio l'ideale.... Insomma si sta proprio bene!!! Lo consiglio
17/05/2025: 25 minutes just to order, with the waiters seeming more busy avoiding tables than serving them. After another 25 minutes… still no pizza. No communication, no apologies, just waiting and frustration.
If you are hungry and short on time (or even just want to be treated with a little attention), better to change route. Here time stops… but not in a good way.

14/04/2025: We organized a lunch at Sombrero, we already knew them from the previous management so we had no doubts about the success! Welcoming environment full of people, wonderful veranda in this season, there is lots of light and the setup is beautiful, we ate divinely (exquisite asparagus risotto), they came by several times to ask if we wanted more and for this reason alone they deserve 5 stars. See you soon!

07/07/2024: Go there en masse. It's my motto to say that all dishes are satisfying. I tasted all the wines described by the head waiter and I suggest the Glera, fantastic even if it costs €8 per litre. I do not recommend the lemon sgroppino, I found pieces of ice and the taste is insignificant. Hello readers! Donatella

21/12/2024: Ci sono andato con amici, locale bello, servizio veloce, abbiamo mangiata una buona grigliata ed un buon antipasto di affettati misti.
Da provare.
28/08/2024: A distanza di un anno ( si veda la precedente recensione dell'agosto 2023) siamo tornati ; pizza serale infrasettimanale ( lunedì) , c'era comunque gente, fatti sedere rapidamente e serviti in breve tempo. Le pizze tutte enormi , sicuramente per gente "mangiona" con abbondanza di ingredienti ; un po' difficile da mangiarla tutta viste le dimensioni. Qualità nella media. Si vedevano piatti di primi e secondi circolare davvero invitanti. Tutto sommato si passa una bella serata a prezzi convenienti.
