29/01/2026: I stopped in for lunch during a workday, drawn by a fixed-price menu displayed outside.
At checkout, I was asked if I wanted to pay cash or with a debit card. When I answered "debit card," the price suddenly changed and I was charged a "tourist menu," never indicated, never explained, and absolutely not displayed beforehand.
I should point out that I have the receipt, which clearly shows a different price than advertised.
This behavior is seriously unfair and misleading: customers should know the price before ordering, not find out at the cashier based on the payment method or arbitrary assessments.
An extremely negative experience. Unacceptable practice, which undermines trust and damages the restaurant's image. I recommend paying close attention and always checking the bill.
Now I understand why every time I drive by, there are a maximum of three or four cars parked outside. As long as you treat customers like this, it's obvious that after the first time they eat there, they won't return...
18/01/2026: I know this place for its takeaway pizzas, very good and easy to digest, made with seasonal ingredients and I must say that they don't skimp on either quantity or quality.

08/02/2026: I celebrated my birthday here. For personal reasons, this occasion was particularly meaningful. Excellent menu, with top-quality vegan options. Impeccable service. The dining room was carefully decorated. It was an unforgettable lunch, and I was delighted. I highly recommend this place.

12/10/2025: UNMISSABLE! Exceptional pie, tender stew, tagliatelle with ragù, and excellent crespelle. It felt like I was back at my grandmother's house with the authentic food of the past! SUPERLATIVE! It's no coincidence that the clientele was of a certain age, it's experience and knowledge of what original, authentic, and flavorful food is like in the old days ❤️ More than fair price: 4 first courses, 2 second courses, 3 side dishes, and two desserts, water, coke, and beer, €80. Don't expect bites or "new" combinations. Here, you'll find all the wonderful tradition.

18/01/2026: Excellent pizzeria, and a wide choice, recommended, we returned as on other occasions and had a great time as usual, places full of people, very nice location, especially inside the room, when it's full you have to wait a bit but it's worth it,
10/01/2026: We returned to the roadman's after not being there for a few years. Unfortunately, it wasn't a great experience. Even though we booked several days in advance, there were five of us at a table for four, with one of us sitting on a chair placed in the way of people and waiters. When we asked for the menu, they brought us a single laminated sheet of paper with text so dense and in such tiny print that it was barely legible. When it came time to order, I asked for a joke (I always get one when we come), and the very kind guy told me they don't do jokes on weekends. The ingredients would have been good, but it's a shame the dough that won us over in the past is no longer the same; it's dry and flavorless. The price is at least a little lower than average, but (with great regret) I wouldn't return.

09/12/2025: I used to get takeout pizza often in the past... because the pizza is (a bit expensive) but really good, with top-quality ingredients... which justifies the price...
Having a family with two children and not having much money, I took pizza home so I could do it more often and save some money.
I should point out that I'm a particularly polite person and it's my habit to say hello, thank you, and everything else that should be normal but is almost not anymore. The only problem with the place for me was one that I've found in other reviews... The owner. He's definitely a hard worker, because running a place these days is no easy feat... but when I consistently had to witness greetings not returned (when I walked in alone to a place that was still empty), and above all, inappropriate manners towards the staff... it was tough.
I held out until one evening when I felt more uncomfortable than I've ever felt in my life... The owner's wife came to talk to her husband about work, and he literally humiliated her with a tone and manner of speaking that simply couldn't exist. The woman was uncomfortable and tried to disengage because, rightfully, I was in front of her and it wasn't the right thing to do... but he didn't even consider giving up.
Since that evening, despite the fact that the pizza is probably one of the best in the area, out of personal consistency, I've never set foot in there again, and I never will.
I'm truly sorry. I hope that the owner, seeing that more than a few people care about human honesty as well as ingredients, can gradually try to pay more attention to these aspects as well.
It's rare for me to leave negative reviews... but if I do, it's to try to provide feedback that can truly help...
In this case, depending on how it's perceived... it could help customers make their choice... or the owner can try to address this shortcoming and improve...
