07/09/2025: A historic place, with a wide selection of croissants and pastries, especially mini ones... definitely a top choice for breakfast. Prices are fair. The croissants are a great size, always soft, and filled just right. The coffee is excellent, and with their macchiato/i.o./cappuccino options, they know how to froth it properly. Even with a good flow of customers, they serve you very quickly.
There are a few tables both inside and outside. Clearly, since it's very popular, if you arrive during breakfast hours, it can be difficult to find a seat, which is obviously something to be expected. In any case, the counter makes up for it.
I honestly give it my all.

No sooner said than done. Very nice place, we were passing by and stopped and who would have ever said.... Everything perfect and good, yay... but they told us that the place will move to Rovigo
14/04/2025: Small but well organised, with really friendly and helpful staff. They kindly let us change seats compared to where we were initially to be more comfortable and less "crowded".
Really high quality of food, portions perhaps not too large (sandwiches not huge) but still composed really well. The menu is not too sparse but not too extensive, however there is a good combination of dishes. The speed of service was really high, we had dinner in a short time.

While wandering around Rovigo, I stumbled upon this bar, located near the historic center.
Friendly staff, good food.
If I may make a small suggestion: having a menu available so you can choose more easily would be even better.

Siamo stati in coppia a pranzo e abbiamo preso un primo due secondi, se così si possono chiamare, e un antipasto. Solo acqua a tavola no vino perchè dovevo guidare. Ci hanno spillato 80 euro e che ca....!!

11/07/2025: I'm a lover of good food, especially seafood. During my week-long stay, I tried almost every seafood dish: 5 stars for the spaghetti and the mate fruit risotto, and 5 stars for everything else. A small criticism for the desserts and the lack of a fresh fruit salad. A special shout-out to the staff: kind, cheerful, and knowledgeable. It was all wonderful, I'll be back. THANK YOU.

01/08/2025: 🛏️ Business trip accommodation in an industrial area
I stayed at this hotel for work. The area is predominantly industrial, so it's recommended for those in Rovigo for professional reasons rather than tourism.
🛌 Room
The room is simple but welcoming, equipped with a comfortable desk 🪑 that allowed me to work even after returning home. The French bed was comfortable and suitable for two people.
🌬️ Downside: the air conditioning is very noisy, and I had to turn it off every night to sleep; I didn't mind the heat.
🚿 Bathroom
Modern and clean, but no bidet, a detail that can be annoying for those accustomed to one.
🍽️ Breakfast
Breakfast is included, but the quality depends greatly on where you eat it.
📍When there are few hotel guests, it's served in a small room at the back of the bar, and the atmosphere isn't the best, honestly.
☕ On the other hand, the room in front of the bar, with its glass window overlooking the parking lot/outdoor garden, is bright, welcoming, well-furnished... and offers a wide variety of croissants and pastries.
🥐 The imbalance is evident: in the small room at the back, the selection is limited to one standard croissant per person, jams, cereals, and sometimes a yogurt, while at the bar, you're spoiled for choice when it comes to croissants. This difference detracts from the overall experience and disadvantages hotel guests compared to those who come solely to use the bar.
🍕 Restaurant/Pizzeria
Tried on the first day: two slices of grilled chicken breast, a portion of spinach with bread, and a bottle of water – total €17. Nothing exciting, but convenient if you don't want to leave.
🚗 Free, convenient, and secure indoor parking.
🌇 Truly beautiful sunset views, even though the surrounding landscape is dominated by industrial warehouses.
📌 Conclusion
Perfect for a business stopover 🧳, but the contrast between the various areas of the hotel is stark: acceptable comfort, but with obvious room for improvement, especially regarding the breakfast experience.

26/07/2025: Locale carino , pizza buona, tuttavia attesa troppo lunga (1 ora e mezza). Durante la serata il menù é stato ridotto solo alle pizze, nonostante il menù offrisse la possibilità di scegliere primi e secondi piatti…
22/04/2025: Non faccio tante recensioni, solo se sono oltre la media o scarsissime. Da mototuristi e stanziati a Taglio di Po per base di un tour ci abbiamo cenato. Personale cordiale ed efficiente, cibo buono ed alla fine abbiamo ordinato anche una pizza buonissima. Consigliato vivamente

10/01/2024: My husband & I were on vacation to Venice to celebrate our #55 anniversary & after watching the bar on the live webcam atop The Ruzzini Palace Hotel we knew we had to visit it and experience the open air drinks, snacks & people watching!
We told our lady server that we watch this Bar every day from the live webcam posted on top of the Ruzzini Palace Hotel and we tole her we have been watching her...lol, and she said.."WHAT!!"
Well, it did not disappoint!! We found it amazing to soak in the Italian culture + scenery and you can almost get caught up in it all!!
We loved the chance to sit outside at one of the tables, enjoyed a Aperol Spritz with snack and we would definitely do it again if ever in Venice this would be our first stop!!
27/12/2023: Locale molto bello accogliente moderno, cibo ottimo carne e pane e condimenti vari di ottima qualità e freschezza , ho mangiato un hamburger io e la mia ragazza ma sembrava fatto in casa molto molto buono . Mi sento di poterlo consigliare sia per il personale molto gentile e simpatico, prezzi onesti e location molto buona soprattutto per chi si sposta con i mezzi pubblici . A chiunque passa per Porto Viro deve fermarsi all’Orologio.

31/10/2024: Una bomboniera, chiamiamola così, in un terra che merita di essere scoperta. Barbara, Cristiano ed i genitori strepitosi, oltre ad una location da incanto. Consiglio vivamente di usufruire del ristorante, una delizia con prodotti della loro terra e coltivati direttamente. La colazione poi…scopritela…una esaltazione di sapori e bontà
