08/09/2025: I thought all the mountain huts in the area would offer superior food, but I was wrong. I was quite disappointed given the high expectations raised by the reviews. Let's start with the positive: the price. €30 per person for a first course, two beers, a dessert, and an appetizer. The big problem, and I'm very sorry to have to say this since they're all young and enthusiastic, is that the food tasted like nothing. It all tasted the same. It's hard to describe what I experienced, and perhaps I'm exaggerating it more than I should, but I was very disappointed. The dessert was also rather low quality; I had a strudel and my girlfriend had an ice cream with caramel and granola, and neither was even close to passing. I'm absolutely willing to change my mind if the opportunity arises, but until then, I definitely can't speak highly of this mountain hut. What a shame.
29/08/2025: A superb alpine hut, with a fantastic view, cozy, and great attention to detail. The food was also delicious, the service friendly, and the prices fair – highly recommended!

12/08/2024: Esperienza decisamente non soddisfacente. Più di un’ora per servire due porzioni di patatine, sottolineo una forte negligenza da parte dei camerieri, che si sono scordati di portare l’ordine al completo per ben due volte. Le risposte dei camerieri, dopo aver sottolineato educatamente che stessimo aspettando da più di un’ora, sono state sconvolgenti: volto girato dall’altra parte e hanno addirittura sbuffato. Conto non adeguato all’ordine e sicuramente non al servizio. Suggerisco di supervisionare il personale e, chiaramente di gestire meglio le tempistiche.

Hotel Johanneshof Restaurant

11/02/2025: Johanneshof è da anni per me e la mia famiglia una garanzia se vogliamo pranzare bene quando siamo in Valle di Anterselva. I proprietari sempre disponibili ci accolgono come fossimo di casa. Dopo una bella sciata a Riepenlift di fianco all'hotel un bal pranzetto qui è d'obbligo. Grazie, anche quest'anno siamo stati benissimo, alla prossima.

Personale molto gentile.
Buone proposte di piatti tipici, molto buoni.
Molto buono lo strudel.
