24/02/2026: Great experience! Delicious pizza with a light crust and fresh ingredients, and the pasta dishes are also truly excellent and well-prepared. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast service. Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: The Swallow's Nest is simply a beautiful place to take a break after a hike. You have a wonderful view from the top, and everything else is fantastic, too.

The farmer's omelette was quite good (it's a hearty pancake).
The Kaiserschmarrn wasn't great. Basically just a regular pancake.
No beaten egg whites were folded in to make it nice and fluffy. Raisins were also missing, in our opinion.

27/02/2026: We were passing through on our way to a ski tour and stayed overnight at the Gasthof Falkenstein – and we would come back anytime!
We received a wonderfully warm and relaxed welcome upon arrival. Even though we were running late, they readily prepared a packed lunch for our ski tour the next morning at 10 pm – that's truly exceptional and demonstrates the hospitality here.
The inn is beautifully situated above Naturns, with a fantastic view over the village at night and the valley below. The panoramic location is a real highlight. The sun terrace and the conservatory with its mountain views must be a dream during the day.
You can tell it's a family-run establishment: the staff are very friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed. Add to that the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with regional specialties – just what you need after a long day.
The value for money is definitely excellent! Good transport links, lovely rooms, delicious food, and genuine hospitality – we can absolutely recommend the Gasthof Falkenstein.

The breakfast was excellent, very good, with all the typical products.
Just 15 minutes from the center of Merano, so relatively close, with dining options in a welcoming space.
06/12/2025: I really enjoyed breakfast because I ate traditional dishes. The room was dated but had everything I needed. The restaurant was nice, but I didn't use it. The only downside is that the soundproofing leaves a lot to be desired, both inside and out (a shame).

13/05/2025: …ho fatto un escursione sul Monte San Vigilio!!…nei pressi di Lana!!…e sono arrivata fino a questa malga!!…è la Malga Naturno!!…”Naturnser Alm”!!…che si trova quasi a duemila metri!!…io ci sono arriva inizialmente con la funivia e poi con la seggiovia monoposto!!…qui ci sono tanti sentieri per fare delle belle camminate!!…e si attraversano dei bei boschi di larici e abeti!!…per arrivare fin qui!!…purtroppo al momento del mio passaggio la malga Naturno era ancora chiusa!!…ancora freddino in questo periodo!!…di inizio maggio!!…infatti sarà aperta da giugno!!…con il bel tempo!!…e penso che qui sia un posticino veramente speciale!!…ho visto anche la bella terrazza esterna!!…poi ci saranno sicuramente i tavoli e le sedie!!…per sedersi!!…a mangiare qualcosa di buono e tipico!!…e da questa terrazza !!…si può godere una vista meravigliosa!!…verso la Val Venosta!!…il gruppo di Tessa e la Val Senales!!…che dire!!…un bel punto di riferimento!!…per fare una bella pausa dalle varie escursioni!!…che si possono fare in questa zona!!…è Malga Naturno!!…Alto Adige!!…da scoprire!!…🐄🐮🌲👌⬆️‼️
