15/02/2025: Couple dinner in this beautiful place. As soon as we set foot inside the place we were pleasantly surprised both by the style of the premises and by the extreme kindness and professionalism of the waiters. Service with the right timing, honest portions and amazing raw materials; both the fillet and the braised meat made us say CHAPEAU. Absolutely one of those places where you come to feel good and enjoy both the food and the wine.
Great job to all the staff; thank you from the bottom of my heart.
26/01/2025: I went for Saturday lunch.
As soon as I entered there was a nice atmosphere and I felt at ease.
Staff are very kind and professional.
Customers were couples, families with children or dogs, groups...
Tasted Crème brûlée with cardamom cauliflower, fresh tagliolini with egg sauce and fine black truffle,
Tagliatelle rolled with a rolling pin with duck sauce,
And then desserts!! Specialty Coccioepesto cake and hazelnut cake!!
Near the entrance there is this table with many sweets in sight, wonderful for me like jewels🩷
All dishes were good and beautiful too.
Also time to bring the right dishes.
Too bad I forgot to take photos!!
I would like to come back soon!!

Valentine's Day dinner: As soon as we arrived we realized that the reservation was for 14 people, not for a couple🤦
They made us sit without giving us the Valentine's Day menu. We ate à la carte: €114 with 2 appetizers, 2 seafood main courses, potato side dish, bottle of prosecco and a shared dessert.
For the second course we asked for the gluten-free bread to be brought back, which never arrived.
The fried food was good but the grilled fish was overcooked, so the calamari became soles, and the prawns were out of the question.... The only good thing was the octopus tentacles, the more you squeeze them the softer they are.
We liked it a lot but today we won't be returning

22/01/2025: It's not the first time I've come here and it won't be the last.
We are at the pizzeria of the Casa del Popolo in Calenzano; as you can imagine, the environment (a single large room with an open kitchen and oven) is rather spartan, crowded and a little noisy. On weekends it is absolutely recommended to book if you want to be sure of finding a place.
The fact that it is full is already a good indication.
For dinner on Friday for three couples: 1 potato gnocchi with seafood sauce (abundant, rich in fish and very good), 5 pizzas and 1 covaccino (good and well-leavened dough, medium to thin, well seasoned and perfectly cooked) ; 2 desserts (abundant and impeccable millefeuille), 4 small beers (the highway code also applies in pizzerias) and two bottles of water. Too bad they don't have coffee.
The cost? We stayed under €25 per couple.

03/01/2025: Frequentiamo spesso questo locale e abbiamo preferito sempre la pizza a taglio che è buonissima, molto digeribile e ben farcita. Oggi abbiamo optato per la pizza tonda. Devo dire che il menù è molto sfizioso, ma le basi sono troppo farcite a la pizza risulta abbastanza pesa.
23/12/2024: Pessimo la pizza riscaldata in microonde 40 euro buttati un spritz solo ghiaccio spumante senza bolle...ma di che si ragiona

08/12/2023: Quanto è buono per colazioni dolci o salate e quanto sono rimasto deluso dal pranzo self service.. Riso mare freddo insipido e brodoso, grigliata mista abbondante ma fredda, purè immangiabile dall'eccesso di sale.. prezzo 23€ veramente eccessivo per un cibo più o meno da mensa.
Esperienza negativa.
