08/11/2025: The food was good But the waiter tried to scam us !!!! Be careful tourists! because he will not leave you alone if you don’t buy fish from his platter where he presents the fresh fish. We tried the fresh fish carpaccio and it was good but in the end 3 mini pieces of fish cost us 21$ which was kind of expensive. Adding on to that he suggested some fish pasta to us and just walked away so that we almost couldn’t make our real order. The dishes he suggested weren’t on the menu which made us believe that that was his way to try to scam us…. Because we couldn’t see the prices on the menu! When he walked away my boyfriend told him what he actually wanted to order and I even had to go inside to tell him what i initially wanted. After our lunch we payed and all of the sudden he was super unfriendly….🧐🧐🤨🤨🤨 So watch out and don’t get scammed Besides all these things the pasta was amazing 🤩 But we wouldn’t come back !

03/11/2025: Good food, but everything was overpriced. We went to this restaurant last night, and I must say the dishes were beautifully presented and had pleasant flavors. However, the prices were truly out of line for the quantities served: all the portions were very small, both for the octopus and the side dishes, and even ordinary fish, like sea bass, was charged as if it were a luxury item. Even the wine, water, and desserts were very expensive. Overall, everything was expensive, and the final bill was truly hefty. The food is good and carefully prepared, but considering the cost and the quantity, we definitely won't be returning.

14/10/2025: we ate pizza . it was good, we went at saturday night. its normal to wait for food at saturday night since there are so many customers . However within acceptable limits . But taking our order took more than 10 min . than we wait around 50 min to recive pizza. at some point ,my husband went to say if there is a problem in kitchen, we would like to pay beers and leave. then, within 10 min pizza arrived. I would like to turn back . But they need to organize in better way. i do not understand what was the problem if the number of staff is not enoug or kitchen is so small respect to table capacity.

09/10/2025: My husband and I went yesterday to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were greeted by friendly and professional staff. The gourmet pizzas we ordered were truly delicious, as were the appetizers. The desserts were also spectacular, especially the sweetened fried dough balls with Nutella and cream. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

12/10/2025: A fresh review after the very first time we tried this restaurant, I dare say, exceptional. I'd like to start by saying that the staff is completely helpful and disarmingly kind: they made us feel right at home. Their advice was amazing and worth listening to. The wait times were just right for the preparation of the dishes. The food was exquisitely refined and delicious: the fish was incredibly fresh, and we even had the pleasure of trying some new and interesting delicacies. I recommend booking in advance, as the place fills up so quickly (due to the extremely high quality of the products). We followed the reviews and chose this wonderful place, right on the edge of the sea, where it literally felt like being suspended in mid-air. The prices are reasonable for the quality; here in Puglia they say: "what you pay for, you get!"—and it's absolutely true. We recommend the tiramisu: absolutely creamy. We went on a Sunday for lunch, and despite it being packed, we were incredibly satisfied. The very young owner is an example of how important a coordinated staff living in a healthy and suitable place is, we HIGHLY recommend it if you want to eat well!

12/10/2025: The food was excellent, the quality and creativity excellent. Service could be improved, both in terms of ordering and waiting times. The location, practically on the seafront, was impeccable. The appetizers were imaginative and delicious... I would have appreciated an extra course. The lobster scialatello was a 10/10. The dessert was average. The bill was a bit high.

07/11/2025: Everything was delicious but I found a little bit of cleanliness in the pizza which made it all more sensual.

02/11/2025: I'll start by saying that I only knew one side of Giovinazzo, and I never thought I'd discover a place like Cucchiara Pizzeria in the Villa area. First with my family and then with my group of 20 friends, I've been here (friends at my request). The welcome was warm and friendly, the service excellent, efficient, and organized, the cuisine, the appetizers above average and very balanced between flavor, innovation, quality, and abundance, the Assassina pizza was amazing, perfect in texture, tomato-to-moisture ratio, saltiness and spiciness (my friends were very happy), the pizza, what can I say? Light, crispy, and very, very digestible. In short, PERFECT!!! Delicious desserts, very nice and delicious bitters, overall 10/10. Keep it up!!! And above all, we'll see each other soon. I have Assassina in my heart and Nonna Emilia's pizza obsessed in my head. Chef Mauro and Lisa
