La Foresteria di Banchette

19/10/2025: My partner and I visited this trattoria and had a truly wonderful time!
He chose a charcoal-fired pizza, which was delicious and well-cooked, while I had homemade ravioli filled with vegetables: simply exceptional, I savored all the care and quality of the ingredients.
But the real star of the evening was the dessert: a cake with amaretti biscuits, peaches, and chocolate... it was like the classic "persi pien" (pie), but in cake form! An absolute delight.
A special mention for the kindness of the staff: they enthusiastically welcomed our Labrador, immediately bringing him a bowl of water and some snacks to cuddle him.
In short, excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and great attention to detail, even for our four-legged friends. Highly recommended! 🍽️
18/10/2025: I really enjoy coming to the Foresteria (former parish house of the sanctuary). The space isn't large, but in the summer there's a beautiful garden set up with awnings and umbrellas. Chef Brenna's cuisine is high-quality, using excellent ingredients, and the menu varies according to seasonal produce. Homemade bread and breadsticks. Very friendly and professional staff. Wide selection of wines. Desserts that meet expectations. The crema catalana is the best for me. Prices are in line with the quality of the dishes offered. During the week, there's a fixed lunch menu. Highly recommended.

08/09/2025: I have no idea what kind of food they have there. We looked at the photos. It should have been fine. Google maps says the restaurant opens at 12:00, we went there specifically. We arrived and it was closed. They said it would only open at 19:00, we just wasted our time.
18/07/2025: I ate well, the service was fast and the staff were friendly. I recommend it if you're passing through Cossato.

28/09/2025: We ate quite well, the menu of the day has traditional dishes, you must try their agnolotti off the menu, the lady prepares them, they are delicious
31/08/2025: Two homemade agnolotti, delicious but only 10 agnolotti on a plate for 14 euros, a cutlet also for 14 euros, and a roast consisting of two 30-gram slices with a spoonful of broccoli for the price of the full menu, half a glass of wine, a bottle of water, two coffees, two slices of cake, total 74.50 euros!!!
I don't think we'll be stopping.

30/09/2025: An evening with friends. It's been a long time since I've been here. The service and the place have improved over time. Unfortunately, I don't appreciate the all-you-can-eat system... I think it gives poor customer service and a bad image of the place (personal opinion). Overall, a pleasant evening, great courtesy. Recommended.
04/09/2025: Nice place, especially the first floor. It might be a bit lacking in lighting, but the staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

Top quality/price ratio, despite the many people, we didn't wait, there are 2 fish menus and one meat menu with appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, water, wine and coffee for 35 euros with truly generous portions.

13/08/2025: On business in Cossato, we stopped at this lovely bar and I had a delicious toasted sandwich! The staff were incredibly kind!
11/08/2025: Crowded place with dirty tables. They made us wait for coffee and a croissant, and we had to call the waitress several times (and the poor thing was alone, too). The guy behind the counter could have smiled every now and then, because I've seen people smile more at funerals.
The macchiato wasn't macchiato, and it wasn't even good.
Unfortunately, it was a bad experience.

15/09/2025: For 4 restaurants: Location 4 might be special, but it's not! Menu 5 is nothing worth returning for. Service 4, you basically eat at tables that aren't very clean. Bill 5 is appropriate for what you get! It could even be cheaper.
