12/10/2025: Beautiful castle ruins. Sweeping views of the valley.
Normally free to visit.
As an English speaker, I was annoyed/surprised that it costs €3 on FAI Day, even though you can't take the guided tour.
I recommend that all non-Italian speakers come on a normal day, or learn Italian and then take the guided tour for €3. ☺️🙃
01/09/2025: Castle with well-preserved ruins and a splendid view of the Valtellina valley and the surrounding vineyards. A recommended stop for a lovely afternoon in a FAI heritage site. The restaurant (closed when we visited) features a wonderful vine-covered pergola.
