21/03/2026: Seeing this magnificent place every time we go to Desenzano and intrigued by the very positive reviews, we stopped for dinner on a Friday evening. The place, especially the outside, is fantastic. There's a huge parking lot, and the restaurant is close to the road but away from traffic due to its elevated position, immersed in the natural setting of the hills. Inside, the restaurant has beautiful windows that enhance the view, although the simple decor is a bit bland. The menu focuses primarily on seafood, with more than competitive prices for the area and the type of dishes. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast. I have to say, we weren't thrilled with what we ate. The marinated anchovies, served with caramelized onions, were placed in the bowl, probably taken straight from the container they were in, so they were quite close together. I understand that they're probably not prepared fresh from the catch, but at least a more thoughtful arrangement wouldn't hurt. The grilled octopus was very tough and stringy; the accompanying vegetables were excellent. The mixed fried fish, a bit bland, was only good for the shrimp, as the calamari rings were so chewy they were difficult to pierce with a fork. All in all, it was probably a slightly off night, which can happen.
