24/12/2023: Se cercate il lusso, le stelle Michelin o il ristorante gourmet, forse non è il vostro ristorante, ma se cercate il rispetto per la genuinità, la tradizione e la semplicità delle cose autentiche, questo è il posto perfetto.
Piatti semplici, ottimamente cucinati, materie prime eccellenti e un’atmosfera imperdibile come ai tempi in cui tutto era più autentico fanno di questo posto (che non è facile da trovare se non lo si conosce perché fuori dalle rotte del traffico) un luogo incantato che si vorrebbe rimanesse per sempre inalterato…

02/04/2024: We stayed here for a night and it was a huge mistake! Should have stayed at least two nights in this lovely hotel. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and they keep on asking if we needed anything. Will definitely stay in this hotel again if ever we’ll get the chance to be back in lake como.

05/04/2024: Small ice cream costs 3 euros, tastes like nothing, the staff doesn't know how to manage orders, given that 3 people who paid before me got their ice creams before me! Just because they mistook me for a tourist, even if I were one you shouldn't behave like that. Rude.

27/12/2023: There was a very nice and warm fireplace- when visiting in December. Average panini.
Cappuccinos are €3 each which is more like in Switzerland, and twice as much as in Milan!!!

03/01/2024: Posticino nascosto vicino al Castello di Vizio (un rudere con bel panorama sul lago di Como). Rustico, ben tenuto, pochi piatti tradizionali ma buoni. Famoso per gli sciatt, la polenta con carne, i pizzoccheri. Oggi abbiamo assaggiato il riso in cagnone (cioè bollito) condito con burro e pesce persico. Il persico è venuto un po’ bruciacchiato. Non abbiamo assaggiato i dolci. Il bagno è minuscolo, ce n’è solo uno. Prezzi un filo sopra la media.
03/12/2023: Piccolo ristorante nel centro di un piccolo borgo. Io e mia moglie ci siamo fermati mentre percorrevano la via del Viandante. Diciamo che non è stata un'esperienza speciale: accoglienza non particolarmente gradevole, piatti accettabili, ma nulla di speciale.

22/11/2023: I was invited by friends. I felt very bad. The food wasn't that great... like store bought food. My friends also paid a high bill that was not adequate for what was served. I do not recommend! Cheers!!!!!
19/11/2023: Excellent lunch, everything delicious, pizzoccheri, patola, salmi deer, polenta and cheese, strudel.
Kindness and courtesy of the owners, honest prices, I definitely recommend it.
