29/08/2024: Unfortunately it had rained shortly before, but the indoor area is also worth a visit. Extremely delicious food and very friendly staff. Definitely recommended
29/08/2024: We had dinner last night and had a great time. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly. The quality and research of the local products used is very appreciable and the price, overall, is low. Excellent experience and definitely worth repeating. Well done

18/08/2024: If we have to find a flaw it is only the difficulty of booking and having to respect the shifts. This denotes the fact that we are in front of a place where many want to dine. We are not talking about simple pizzas.
We are faced with an experience of noteworthy flavours. I will try to go back in less crowded weeks to be able to enjoy other flavors that I definitely want to try. Congratulations guys.
17/08/2024: Nothing to say about the food, but it's a shame about the service and the policy of the "monarchical" pizza chef who, even in a situation such as a (well-specified) joy, refused to make a change to the menu.
I wouldn't recommend it. And I will certainly never return!

Johnny's Pizzeria
San nicola arcella
18/08/2024: They really don't know what it means to do catering. Given that I had a reservation at 9.30pm. There isn't even a shadow of a place to be seen. I asked the owner about the waiting time and was told there was a wait. She tells me it takes at least twenty minutes and I tell her it's fine. I find myself near the cash register and a gentleman pays and frees up a table. The owner says to me: "have you seen Madam? You have to wait even less". I go out and tell the lady that the tables are full. He asks me to go to an elusive maître, who has nothing of a maître, given his rude ways. Perhaps he should study and delve deeper into the subjects relating to hospitality
The maître d' arrogantly tells me that there are no tables. I dispute that he made someone else sit. Meanwhile, a table for 6 is freed up. Another table could have been added but there was a Vespa that was there for the sake of beauty. So I ask the lady if we could move the Vespa to add another table and the lady kindly replies: of course! The maître d', who I later discover is the lady's son, refuses to move the Vespa on a whim. He responds violently and asks me to move it. The police pass by, giving fines in San Nicola Arcella as if there were no tomorrow, without having pity on anyone, and I ask them if a means of transport can park in the restricted traffic zone.... but what can I tell you to do... Have you done the checks? NO! At that point the lady joins various tables and organizes the tables of 8. I would define her son as haughty and unprofessional. The result? I'm gone! But I'm curious to know: a) if that vehicle is authorized; b) if it is legal that in a restricted traffic zone the majority of the roadway can be occupied by 70% of tables. c) they fine those who cannot find parking and if they occupy the road they fine, according to them, for safety reasons, but they do not check the tables which occupy 70% of the road. In the latter case there is no fine, even though there is not the slightest respect for safety and public order, as well as decorum. In short, a nightmare for me!
17/08/2024: Bad experience, in short: uneducated and rude staff.
Reservation at 9pm.
At 9.50pm, with 5 free tables, they wouldn't let us sit (8 of us, we needed three tables) to keep three separate tables and two together. When asked to add a third table to the two, the waiters refuse because it would be necessary to move a Vespa (of the place, with Johnny's license plate). A waitress claims that she "doesn't have the keys" (of a Vespa in the room) and the second waiter stops and, abruptly, raises his tone with the customer "you take it and move it, ma'am", walking away in an annoyed and irreverent manner .
The situation begins to become more and more paradoxical: a row of three tables of 8 accumulates, all with reservations at different times. What's the point of booking if there are no tables to sit at? Really absurd.
The waiters continued to behave in an absolutely unjustifiable and disrespectful manner. In the end, irreverence leads us to abandon the table without even occupying it and the culmination: the waiters get together to "invite", with the little respect that distinguishes this restaurant, the customer to leave the place.
Really, you don't know how to work at all.
