07/10/2025: A beautiful, quaint restaurant with a lovely red room and—a few steps down—a sort of cellar room. Several signs point the way from the old town entrance to the restaurant. The service is polite and friendly. While serving the "Tagliere," she briefly explained all the sausages, hams, and cheeses to us. The cuisine is quite upscale, and the food is very tasty, which is why the prices are absolutely justified. The only thing I personally didn't quite like was the tiramisu. I completely missed the taste of coffee. It's part of the experience, though, especially since it's supposed to wake you up; hence—I think—the name: "Pull me up," meaning "wake me up." It also consisted mainly of mascarpone. There were maybe a few pavesini on top. I've heard of it with the savoiardi (spoon biscuits), but they're solid from top to bottom. That way, at least they have some bite. But below the Pavesini (or whatever) there was just a "mascarpone lake." Certainly not bad, but not particularly appealing in terms of taste. But as I said: a matter of taste. Having been there five times already, I can highly recommend it. In 2019, for example, I had the melted cheese with truffle – without honey upon request; then the pappardelle al cinghiale; or the simple lentil soup. This time we had the tagliere, the pasta with capra, and each of the duck breast and beef, I think. In 2019, we had an appetizer that was extremely complex; hence the numerous photos. Very interesting back then was this kind of meatloaf with balsamic vinegar; but half as thick as in Germany. It tasted much more refined, though. The house wine was also surprisingly good: only €8 a liter back then. By the way: the pool was, of course, very clean. Parking is convenient and free in front of the circular square in front of the pedestrian bridge over the Nera River. It's great that this restaurant exists: highly recommended, as it combines typical Umbrian cuisine with high quality.

02/06/2025: Ristorante con prodotti locali di grande qualità. Prodotti freschi tra cui il loro pregiato tartufo nero. Ospitalità e cordialità fantastiche, qualità non facili da trovare al giorno d'oggi. Massimiliano attento e pronto a qualsiasi esigenza. Grazie per questa bella esperienza La famiglia di Ferrara

26/05/2025: Ho dormito nella casa adiacente al ristorante e ne ho approfittato per un'ottima cena. Personale genuino ed accogliente, buoni i crostini e ottimo il maialino funghi e tartufo. Discreto il vino della casa, buono il prezzo.

18/08/2025: The food was average, a bit pricey for a slice of beef with a side of buttered spinach, and you could drink a can of Fanta. Total €29. The exterior needs a bit of a facelift, and perhaps the interior is full of cobwebs.

14/08/2025: We just ate: I had homemade pasta with trout, my son had grilled steak... truly excellent quality. The atmosphere was homey and welcoming.

20/09/2025: Upon our arrival in the village, we stopped here for an aperitif lunch. The cold cuts and fresh porcini mushrooms were truly delicious. A good selection of wines and knowledgeable staff were also available.

31/08/2025: Lunch accompanied by the sound of flowing water, the geese swimming in it, surrounded by green mountains, at the foot of the village of Scheggino.
