05/11/2025: This day we came, was the first time in around four years that we ate at Kathi’s, due to moving. However the owner remembered us, to our surprise! I would personally say that Kathi loves the people she serves, and wants to welcome every guest with her heart. May God bless her and the work of her hands! ❤️ As for the food, I personally love the roasted potatoes, and the knödel. The salad that came with it was also very nice. For desert, I would recommend the tiramisu, it was very good the day we came. We arrived right before rush hour in the afternoon, so towards the end of our meal the waitresses’ attention was split between the tables and the service became a bit slower. I would say reservation is recommended if you’re coming in a larger group depending on the time of day, just in case. I noticed smoking is allowed outside, which may affect the experience of some people who are sensitive to it, but it is overall a comfortable and quiet place to sit.

18/10/2025: An honest restaurant. We fortified ourselves after our excursion at Vorbichl. The food was authentic and delicious. The service was very friendly, and even small special requests were responded to wonderfully and quickly. Here, too, we enjoyed South Tyrolean hospitality.

19/06/2025: A superb view. Very friendly service. But the prices are simply too high. €7 for a single, extremely hard Kaminwurz (smoked sausage) with a roll is too much.

29/10/2025: We ate at the Gfrillerhof for the first time, and it was absolutely worth it for everyone. The food was delicious, the service was excellent (especially with the children), and we felt completely at ease. We were a large group, and after calling ahead, a large table was provided for us within half an hour. We will definitely be back! Thank you again for the wonderful lunch and your warm hospitality!

06/11/2025: Excellent food, super friendly service. The white wine house wine is amazing. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars on atmosphere was because of the lighting, too bright and cold, otherwise super cosy place.

25/05/2025: Today we had the pleasure of dining at the Berggasthaus Natz in Platzers – and it was a highlight in every respect. The stunning location immediately impresses upon arrival: surrounded by green meadows and with a breathtaking panoramic view of the South Tyrolean mountains, the large sun terrace invites you to linger. Despite two private events taking place simultaneously, we received a warm welcome and prompt service. The service staff was extremely friendly and attentive, which is by no means a given in such busy times. The culinary experience was outstanding. The Wiener Schnitzel was undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten – perfectly breaded, golden brown and crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Crispy fries were served with it, perfectly complementing the dish. The portions were generous, satisfying even the most hearty appetites. The menu offers a successful selection of traditional South Tyrolean dishes prepared with fresh, regional ingredients. The quality of the food, presented with great attention to detail, is particularly noteworthy. The ambiance of the inn is cozy and authentic, with lovingly furnished dining rooms and a rustic cellar that's perfect for celebrations. For families with children, there's a playground directly below the terrace, making the stay enjoyable for the little ones too. The prices are absolutely reasonable considering the high quality of the food and the excellent service. Overall, our visit to the Berggasthaus Natz was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. We highly recommend this inn and are already looking forward to our next visit.
