21/06/2025: A very nice outdoor dining area, a pleasant dining room. Very friendly service, and South Tyrolean cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired. There are also wonderful new interpretations of well-known dishes. Everything is either regional and/or organic. Definitely a recommendation away from the usual places.
Be sure to try the char as a starter—it's a dream.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were absolutely thrilled. A cozy terrace, a great menu, and wines that cater to both tourists and locals.

04/05/2025: We can only give 5 stars here. A super friendly team. The rooms are very modern. The pool can even be used at the end of April. Great breakfast! and unfortunately we only know this from stories, a great evening menu. Unfortunately we didn't know this beforehand. The head of the house cooks the menu himself every day.
Even at breakfast nothing was left to be desired. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly.
What's also great is that you can use public transport to the nearest towns (Merano, Bolzano) free of charge.

10/06/2025: After making a reservation by phone, we were told upon arrival that they hadn't called – that was a real cheek. But we were given a table.
We ordered two pizzas (one Gypsy and one Capricciosa). We got Gypsy and Quattro Stagione. They told us we'd just take the olives off the menu, it's the same. I ended up eating the olives instead of my wife instead of sending them back. However, my wife's pizza still had the olive flavor. We were also charged for 1 liter of red wine instead of 1 liter of water. We noticed this when we checked the bill. Of course, we got our money back without any problems after complaining. But it's just not good – to charge an extra €2 for the wrong pizza when it's delivered. It doesn't make us poor, but overall the service is extremely poor; I've rarely experienced anything like it. Finally, something positive: The pizza chef is TOP-NOTCH.
One more thing – there's no side salad here – just PIZZAS!!!
07/03/2025: Below average pizza at an above average price, dough very tough, would have given more stars if they hadn't charged us €1 extra for oregano, absolutely cheeky.

24/06/2025: We spent two weeks at this hotel and can recommend it: a good atmosphere, a wonderful garden with both shady and sunny areas, and a beautiful, clean pool, a quiet location, and very friendly staff. The rooms were good, with balconies. It's just that our room was supposed to be 35 square meters, which can't be true. The breakfast was good and sufficient, though a bit of variety would have been nice. The behavior of some guests, who occasionally filled the lounge area with loud voices in the evenings, was not pleasant. Perhaps things would be a little different if staff were present in the evenings and the hotel wasn't left to its own devices.
09/06/2025: Hope to not sound too much like an AI bot, or being payed, but I think this is a hidden gem. The nicest and best hotel staff I have ever met. Room are clean, breakfast is good and plenty, and just sitting at the pool is fantastic. Also just taking a nice hike around the hotel through the wine mountains was unforgettable. Overall, perfect for travelers. The hotel is located right in the middle of Merano and Bolzano. Train station is 6 min away by foot, and from there 20 min with the train to either city. With the hotel you get a public transport pass, making all trains and busses free.

05/06/2025: We arrived at 1:50 p.m. The restaurant was open until 2:30 p.m. When we asked, we were told the kitchen closes at 2 p.m. Okay, two quick pizzas then, please.
No, the oven had just been turned off.
The owner would certainly have served us, but the lazy employee, of course, wouldn't.
So please avoid it – there are definitely nicer places nearby!

14/12/2024: La cameriera Marianne che bene ci conosce e alla quale abbiamo sempre lasciato con cortesia una mancia ci ha mandati via quando ci siamo presentati 15 minuti prima della chiusura per bere una cosa al banco in attesa (10 minuti ) che partisse il nostro autobus torneremo ancora quando la "signora " avrà il giorno di riposo...
19/10/2024: Wir wollten außerhalb von Meran essen, weil es uns dort zu voll war, aber das war eher enttäuschend.
Der uns zugewiesene Tisch war ziemlich eng und unbequem und das Essen war nicht wirklich gut: die Pizza war nicht durchgebacken und der Ruccola und der Schinken darauf vermischten sich zu einer zähen Masse.
Das Fleisch, das mein Mann bestellt hatte, war mit dem vorhandenen Messer kaum zu schneiden und auch kaum zu kauen.
Nicht wirklich das, was wir von einem gut bewerteten Restaurant erwartet hätten!

16/06/2025: Nos alojamos en el cercano Pitla Cuna eco - resort, a poca distancia - por lo tanto, este era un lugar conveniente para la cena a la llegada. (Aunque las aceras no están muy bien diseñadas y planificadas). Volvimos dos días después cuando todos los demás restaurantes de la zona estaban llenos. La comida es buena, abundante (vienen con hambre) , el entorno al aire libre es simple pero agradable, el servicio es rápido, sin alboroto. Cuando estuvimos allí comimos afuera, y solo había otra mesa de invitados,...
27/05/2025: Sehr urige Gaststätte, welche wir auf Empfehlung wegen des Terlaner Spargels besucht haben. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr gute Küche. Beim nächsten Urlsub kommen wir gerne wieder.

02/05/2025: Il posto è panoramico, si mangia bene e offre anche le sdraio. Ci sono altri posti però che offrono le stesse cose a prezzi più bassi. Ecco spiegato i tre pallini e non 4. Intendo dire che eravamo in un'osteria contadina dove hanno messo una tovaglia rotonda su di un tavolo quadrato, dove abbiamo dovuto chiedere il pane due volte, il gelato più volte. Quei prezzi potrebbero trovare giustificazione se fosse un locale elegante raffinato esclusivo e dove danno molta attenzione al cliente.
