15/11/2025: An overnight stay is a wonderful experience. Right beneath a glacier with a phenomenal view. The rooms are excellent. The food is superb.
It's physically demanding at high altitude, but definitely worth it. We were there in the summer on our way home from the Dolomites. It's a beautiful route (by car).
09/11/2025: We were here in first week of October. It.was.awesome. Spaghetti and pizzoccheri for lunch followed by strudel and coffee. Best view ever. Snow on the mountains. Wonderful staff. We were in (metaphorical) heaven. Couldnt fault it. Highly recommended.

They were incredibly friendly and helpful; we received a warm welcome and thank you so much for this wonderful experience of being your guests.
The food is excellent, and the rooms are super comfortable.

31/08/2025: Lovely trail here, a bit steep overall but quite nice, really breathtaking view on mountains here, from here you can get to different places, the food looked good but I wasn’t hungry. Would recommend:D

07/12/2025: 1. Rooms - Very basic but clean.
2. Restaurant - Food very good.
3. Service - It would have been 5 stars if not for the waiter, probably of Indian origin, who confused us by bringing us a menu with restaurant dishes (additionally paid) even though we had already purchased meals. The language barrier prevented us from communicating fluently. He was also pushy and made us feel uncomfortable.
Fortunately, the reception staff helped and even printed out the menu in Polish (thank you for that, it's a nice gesture).
I should add that if the menu was in multiple languages, we Poles are also in Europe and the European Union, so that should be standard practice.
12/10/2025: We were here for hiking, so we stayed for several nights.
The following are particularly positive:
- The owner and her service staff
- Restaurant quality
- Location and view
The rooms are simple but fine.
The sauna is small and a bit dated.
Many guests only stay for one night.

Very spacious rooms.
The lady who runs the hotel is lovely, very kind, and always available.
The cakes from the pastry shop are always fresh and phenomenal.

11/10/2025: I also forgot something (my e-reader) in my room. They found it but they said they couldn't send it to me. No goodwill. Disappointing, just like the general reception, not to mention the construction work next to and behind the building. So no swimming pool. It was in August and I'm still looking for a Belgian biker to go and get it 😬
07/10/2025: DEAR MANU AND DEAR PAUL.......I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE WONDERFUL, UNFORGETTABLE HOLIDAY from September 28th to October 5th, 2025 IN YOUR HOTEL. The rooms were beautifully furnished and had a magnificent view of the King 👑 Ortler and Madatsch peaks. The food was amazing. RESPECT PAUL, YOU COOK SIMPLY FANTASTIC. AND MANU READS YOUR EVERY WISH FROM YOUR EYES. I'm already missing that good fried egg with bacon. I'll be back soon to SEE THE NEW WELLNESS AREA....I 100% recommend the hotel.

24/08/2024: Purtroppo posso solo sconsigliare la visita, le cameriere sono molto maleducate ed irrispettose nei confronti dei clienti, in particolare mi riferisco ad una ragazza bionda ed un'altra mora che erano al servizio. Non solo quando ho cercato di fare una domanda si sono girate dall' altra parte, ma poi servono in maniera scocciata, ridendo degli Italiani in lingua tedesca. La mancanza di rispetto nei confronti del cliente è in primis una mancanza di rispetto nei confronti del proprio datore di lavoro (a meno che sia un atteggiamento poco etico condiviso dall' alto..).
In merito al cibo, ho trovato i piatti mediocri, alcuni erano chiaramente scongelati..
Bella la vista, ma sconsiglio di fermarsi a mangiare, specialmente se Italiani.

21/09/2024: Inizialmente il servizio è parso un po' strano, pochi sorrisi e difficoltà a capire e parlare l'italiano. Prezzi medio alti. Abbiamo preso due primi davvero abbondanti e buoni. Consiglio le Perle di Solda (5 canederli di gusti diversi con salsa al formaggio a parte ): buonissimi. In sintesi abbiamo mangiato bene, i costi visti le porzioni erano corretti. Il servito ci ha lasciati meno soddisfatti.
09/08/2024: Ho cenato in questo ristorante per diversi giorni durante la settimana. Ho preso anche pizze da asporto. Servizio ottimo, buona gentilezza del personale (tranne una signora sempre imbronciata, ma innocua), cibo molto buono, il migliore assaggiato a solda…
Come in tutto l’Alto Adige frequentato da tedeschi, alcuni sono dei cafoni ignoranti e maleducati di prima categoria, ne è un esempio un “haza” seduto da solo al tavolo che più volte ci ha guardato con disprezzo e poi si siede a fumare 50 sigarette fuori e bere come un catino…
mi sento di dare 5 stelle anche perché purtroppo non li puoi cacciare certi individui…
Complimenti veramente al servizio, Elisabetta è stata gentilissima e molto disponibile. Grazie di tutto
