23/05/2026: We celebrated our dream wedding in this wonderful oasis of well-being and couldn't have wished for a more beautiful location. From the planning stages to the celebration itself, everything was superbly organized, and the entire team was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional.
The atmosphere, the food, the wine, and the service absolutely delighted both us and our guests. We especially appreciated the straightforward process and the reliable support throughout the entire preparation. This allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our special weekend.

13/08/2026: A charming place. The owner and staff are incredibly kind. The rooms are small but charming, and the food is truly delicious! I recommend it if you want to enjoy some lovely hikes and have a comfortable place to rest, or even just stop for a bite to eat after a hike.

The gondola ride up is already a very special highlight and makes the day truly unforgettable.
The innkeeper, Tom, is incredibly attentive, warm, and caters to every wish. The entire staff, the service, and the ambiance were simply top-notch.
The food was outstanding and exceeded our expectations.
Especially convenient for wedding guests: There are numerous accommodation options right on site, allowing you to relax and enjoy the evening.
We wholeheartedly recommend Pichlberg to all couples and would choose this beautiful location again in a heartbeat.
25/04/2026: A top address in the Sarntal Valley! Breathtaking views, a stylish ambiance, and excellent food prepared with meticulous attention to detail. The service is attentive and professional. A huge compliment also goes to the host, Tom Gostner – his passion and personal touch are evident in the entire concept. Perfect after a day of skiing or hiking – highly recommended!

27/12/2025: We stayed at Penserhof Alpenhotel from December 24th to 27th. We spent Christmas in this enchanting place, with comfort and lots of good food. The staff (family) were polite and helpful. Wonderful people run this place. I'm a cook and I can tell you that the cuisine here is simple and authentic, with the raw materials that make the difference, not to mention the breakfast with their products. I noticed a respect for everything in this wonderful jewel, especially the very important issue of waste. Surrounded by nature and warmth, we had a wonderful holiday, just like at home. Thank you, we'll definitely be back.

19/08/2026: After a good hour's walk, you arrive at this splendid refuge/farm.
The food is delicious, authentic, and made with entirely local ingredients. Eggs are the star, and all the different types of omelettes we tried were exceptional. The atmosphere is beautiful, with their friendly animals—chickens, bunnies, and goats—providing the perfect backdrop.
17/08/2026: I took shelter from the summer thunderstorm at the Seeb Alm and spent a wonderful afternoon there. Thank you again so much for the delicious coffee and cake and your wonderful hospitality!

12/08/2026: There was a very beautiful view while having breakfast. They also have a swimming pool and a sauna. The rooms were nice and my bed was very comfortable. Service was great and the staff were very nice and spoke English with me and my family.

Friendliness was top notch.
Breakfast and dinner were superb.
The room and bathroom (including the towels) are a little dated, but they're more than adequate for a vacation.
Everything was always very clean.
The relaxation area was top-notch. The pool, sauna, and Turkish bath were truly beautiful.

19/08/2026: A charming mountain hut. A step back in time. A simple place where you can eat like in the old days.
11/08/2026: We arrived at 1:30 PM.
After more than half an hour and after repeatedly requesting table service, we got up and went to the kitchen to see the owner, who told us the food was all gone.
I should point out that I'm not talking about the food, but everything else.
I definitely won't be returning; luckily, the area offers better services in the immediate vicinity.

02/08/2026: A beautiful building in the center that offers an outdoor space in the summer. Like MANY other places in the area, dogs are not allowed. We remedied this by taking advantage of the large outdoor tables, set under a canopy. The bench cushions and the flooring are filthy, with tangles of hair, dust, and crumbs of all kinds dotting the atmosphere, enhanced by the occasional chirp of birds searching for diners' crumbs. The staff was friendly, and despite the unfortunate arrival time, we managed to eat a sausage sandwich (bread brought in a basket and a very minimally plated sausage, attached photo).
Being able to eat at 2:00 PM on a Sunday, in a town that is almost deserted on holidays, played a significant role in the decision to give it 3 stars instead of 2. A half-liter bottle of mineral water, a medium beer, and two sausages, €21.00, a fair price overall.
I wouldn't return if I could...
20/07/2026: 1.5 hours waiting for 1 pizza and 2 tiramisu. If we hadn't gone to pay at the bar, we would still be there now.

Gli occhi mangiano prima ma è nella bocca che il gusto vince.
Fantastica esperienza culinaria, imperdibile per gli amanti della cucina di alto livello.
