Camping Antholz

04/01/2026: A very beautiful and well-maintained campsite. The pitches offer lovely views, and the comfort pitches are large enough for a caravan with an awning and a car.
The sanitary facilities are always very clean (the campsite can't be held responsible for unclean campers). The sauna and infrared cabin can be booked by the hour.
Unfortunately, we only visited the restaurant on our last day, so we couldn't enjoy the extremely delicious food more often. The value for money is also very good.
We will definitely come back to Camping Antholz.

Restaurant Ansitz Heufler

22/02/2026: We had dinners at the Ansitz Heufler in Antholz-Anterselva.
The location is wonderful!
Food is excellent and can be enjoyed in a very relaxed environment. The little bar is very cozy and the staff knows how to mix drinks :).
Staff is very attentive and kind. We were taken care of by Bernardino, who has a fab sense of humor and serves the guests with a great smile.
We can only recommend to visit the Ansitz Heufler and I will definitively be back, when I return for the Biathlon World Cup next year.

PS: cannot judge the rooms, as we were staying in a different hotel. But on the website the rooms look very nice!
22/02/2026: During our week-long vacation, we had the pleasure of dining and having breakfast several times at Ansitz Heufler. We were greeted with great kindness by the entire staff, especially Berry, who accompanied us with professionalism and great attention.
The recommended dishes and wines are particularly worthwhile. The Renaissance stube (traditional parlors) are a true highlight and are worth a visit in and of themselves. The ambiance is enchanting and makes for a unique culinary experience.

14/10/2025: Delicious burger with a fantastic view of the Antholz Valley. Very friendly staff. Pleasant walk along the forest road. There's a shortcut, but it's a bit steep, while the "normal" route is longer but very comfortable.
14/10/2025: Excellent pullpork burger and equally good apple pie. This mountain hut is different from the others and the food is excellent. The staff is fast and friendly.

02/02/2026: I stayed there for 5 days in January. The hotel is very nice and clean, and the food was delicious. There's plenty of parking. The bus stop is 200 meters away and goes to the Kronplatz ski area. The sauna area is very nice, but they should really ban cell phones there.
The only thing that bothered me was the toilet paper holder; it was poorly placed and constantly bumped into my ribs when I was sitting on the toilet. Otherwise, everything was great.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

14/12/2025: There's nothing comparable in the Puster Valley. Even the old Kehlburg Café in Gais couldn't have done better with this blueberry yogurt cake. Simply fantastic! 👌
23/09/2025: Highly recommended. The service is extremely friendly, and the selection of cakes and tarts is fantastic. We'll be happy to visit the café again.

02/09/2025: Fantastic place, a true agriturismo where you can enjoy mostly homemade products, meat from their own farm, and a fantastic speck made by the owners, who are also extremely welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, it's not easy to find a table because it's almost always full, so you need to book in advance. The owner jokingly told us, "We're always full, probably just because we have a large free parking lot 😂"

18/08/2025: Arriving at this mountain hut after a pleasant climb and finding superb dishes in generous portions made our day even more special. If the cuisine was unsurpassed, the staff, young and truly kind and helpful, made us feel even better.
I never leave reviews for mountain huts because I know the quality is always medium to high, but lunch here was a true pleasure, a superb experience both culinary and human.

14/10/2025: The service was incredibly friendly. First, our dogs were given water, which we really appreciated. The ice cream parlor was fantastic, the apple strudel was delicious, and the price/performance ratio was excellent.

08/02/2026: The trip to and from the 2026 Olympic mixed biathlon event was very poorly organized. The outbound journey took two hours, the return three hours, through mud and at night, in overcrowded buses with people collapsing from exhaustion. The buses were not given priority, and the Carabinieri were outnumbered and overwhelmed.

The staff were friendly and professional, the location was beautiful (15 minutes from Lake Anterselva), the rooms were large and functional, and there was free Wi-Fi throughout. We also had dinner (the cutlet was very good), and there was ample parking and a buffet breakfast.
07/10/2025: 40€ for goulash with 2 mini dumplings, coleslaw, ½ water, coffee, 2.50 cover charge.

27/09/2025: We stumbled upon this place yesterday and it was a pleasant surprise. The dumplings in broth were delicious, and the goulash was excellent. We returned today, and the pork shank with sauerkraut was excellent and very filling.

Hotel Kronplatzer Hof

20/11/2025: One of our best stay, the hotel is very clean and near to many must attractions in Dolomites like lago de Breis . The owner Mariana and the receptionist were super kind and guided us perfectly. The restaurant around was great with great value as well. A supermarket just 30 m away from the hotel with local fruits and cheese. We also enjoyed a night with local band near from our stay. I really highly recommend.
16/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive staff. They offer good recommendations for activities near the town.
