15/03/2026: After years, I returned to the Garsun, a typical Ladin inn run with love and passion: a family atmosphere, a rustic and refined environment, and sincere and appetizing cuisine. The fixed menu includes barley soup, tirtlein, the typical schlutzkrapfen topped with parmesan or sweetened poppy seeds, then pork knuckle with potatoes and sauerkraut or wienerschnitzel strictly fried in lard. It ends with krapfen filled with apple puree or cranberry sauce, and finally jam-filled fritters and a strudel paired with an amazing hand-whipped cream. Everything is cooked and fried on the spot with a sure and expert hand and served at the table with kindness and attention. It feels right at home. Good selection of wines and excellent value for money.

18/03/2026: Food was very tasty, made with good quality ingredients. Aperol Spritz was the best we've had for a long time! Staff was super nice. We also liked the atmosphere inside, like an old wine cellar.

14/09/2025: Beautiful location, it can be reached in an hour and a half from Malga Foresta (at a certain point there is a sign indicating the Baita is 145 minutes away, which is not correct).

The hut is idyllically situated in a small, green basin at about 2100 meters. Besides the delicious (homemade) food and the tasty beer, you can enjoy the solitude and escape the tourist crowds at the lake...

23/02/2026: I found this place by chance, a preserved castle where time has stood still.
Besides the restaurant, there's also a bar, a real osteria. The lady there was very kind and prepared something quick but lovingly made for me.
It's a place full of charm and history, worth a visit and soaking up its atmosphere!

13/12/2025: Be cautious if you have allergens!! Great looking building, had lunch outside with 10 friends.
Service was very slow, and they were not overly busy.
2 mains arrived then a wait of 15-20 minutes for the other 8 meals, by which time the first 2 where finished. Scarily my pizza without cheese arrived with cheese, and I was told it was not cheese but the mushrooms! Staggering! I returned it and 5 minutes later the correct pizza arrived. Be very cautious if you have allergens!! Won't be returning.
31/08/2025: Driven by curiosity for a very frank response to a negative review, I chose to eat at this restaurant, and the result was excellent. The food was good, plentiful, with attention to the plating, excellent table service, a magnificent view from the large windows, and prices absolutely in line with other restaurants in the valley. 10 out of 10

21/02/2025: The pizza is very good. The lady at the register refuses to take cards, she probably doesn't pay taxes. Pizza is expensive but very good. The pizza has a fluffy crust and is good to eat.

27/12/2025: Excellent kebab in the center of Pavia, with a friendly and helpful owner. We ordered two piadinas, four pieces of baklava, and a bottle of water, for €17.
The kebab was excellent, plentiful and with fresh toppings, but most importantly, the piadina was grilled on the outside, making it crispy. The dessert was also delicious, rich in honey and pistachios.
The background music was very pleasant and just the right amount of tacky. Recommended!

12/07/2025: Questo ristirante è stato uno dei prefiti della mia famiglia,ma quest' anno,con la nuova gestione, l'esperienza è stata estremamente deludente.
Il servizio è stato lento, le porzioni davvero scarse e uno dei piatti, i fusilloni speck e formaggio, era eccessivamente salato,come il prezzo dei piatti ( davvero troppo alto a confronto con altri ristoranti della zona), non rispecchiato nella qualità.
Il dettaglio più spiacevole, però, è stato alla cassa: ci è stato addebitato lo stesso prezzo per un piatto di gnocchi al gambero rosso e per un piatto di semplici gnocchi al pomodoro per bambini ( BEN 24 EURO).
Quando abbiamo fatto notare l’evidente disparità, ci è stato risposto che “la preparazione è la stessa”, cosa che trovo assolutamente inaccettabile e non veritiera: un piatto con gambero rosso ha ingredienti ben più pregiati e una lavorazione diversa rispetto a un semplice piatto al pomodoro.
Un atteggiamento poco professionale e scorretto nei confronti dei clienti.
Sconsiglio vivamente questo locale.

03/09/2024: Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans ce charmant hôtel où nous avons été très bien accueillis, les chambres modernes ont beaucoup de charme et la vue est époustouflante depuis la terrasse. La salle de restaurant est jolie et traditionnelle, les repas agréables et l'ascenseur pour monter dans la chambre est un vrai plus lorsqu'on a des bagages à porter. Accueil adorable et vue incroyable.
26/08/2024: Mancavo in questo rifugio da diversi anni, ma devo dire che la qualità non è assolutamente cambiata, anzi è una garanzia!
Cordialità della proprietaria e delle cameriere! Cibi ottimi. Da provare assolutamente il Kaiserschmarrn... FAVOLOSO!
Prezzi inferiori rispetto alle baite circostanti!

21/03/2025: Premetto col riferire che ho pernottato 2 notti.
Note positive: bellissima la posizione e il panorama. Buono il cibo. Colazione molto abbondante. Personale gentile.
Note un po' meno positive: è la prima volta che mi capita di pagare in un rifugio in montagna una caraffa di acqua del rubinetto (2 euro); ormai il malcostume di non emettere lo scontrino fiscale ma bensì un prescontrino che non vale nulla (visto che si paga solo in contanti almeno noi italiani richiediamo quello vero).
