26/07/2025: The three of us visited again after years, and it was once again well worth it. The service and food are simply outstanding, and the atmosphere in the cellar vault also contributes to a comfortable atmosphere. And if you want to watch the chefs at work, it's no problem since the kitchen was moved to the other side and thanks to the window facing the street. However, reservations are recommended in advance.
Conclusion: Highly recommended.

Great wine and beer selection.
The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was very friendly and quick. We felt very comfortable, had delicious drinks, great food, and were able to order anything at any time because the service was very prompt and attentive.
We highly recommend the restaurant.

07/08/2025: We arrived 40 minutes before opening, and the kids were incredibly hungry. We received a super friendly welcome and were allowed to order and eat. We'd been turned away at numerous other pizzerias before. We were incredibly happy about this hospitality, and what can we say? The pizza was absolutely fantastic ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We'll stop by again next time. Thank you so much.

The strudel uses tasteless apples, which aren't hand-cut but rather put through a machine/mincer. A very strange consistency...

Tout était absolument parfait, du confort de la chambre à la qualité du service. Le personnel était extrêmement accueillant et professionnel, toujours prêt à répondre à mes besoins avec le sourire. Les installations étaient impeccables et les repas délicieux. Ce séjour a dépassé toutes mes attentes et je ne manquerai pas de recommander votre hôtel à mes proches. Merci encore pour cette expérience mémorable !

We stayed one night at the Biohotel Panorama South Tyrol in Mals – as a stopover on our Trans Alp tour – and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel impresses with its quiet location, its lovingly designed interior, and an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease.
Dinner was a culinary highlight: organic, regional, and lovingly prepared. The staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm – we felt welcome from the very first moment.
Despite the rain, we were generously allowed to stay longer in the cozy lobby until our shuttle service arrived – a gesture that demonstrates true hospitality.
The in-house distillery is also particularly worth mentioning: We had the pleasure of sampling some of the homemade schnapps – delicious and highly recommended.
An all-round successful stay that we would happily recommend. We would come back anytime!

A special mention goes to the in-house distillery: we had the pleasure of tasting some of their homemade schnapps, which were of outstanding quality and absolutely worth trying.
A truly memorable experience – we would gladly return and highly recommend Biohotel Panorama to anyone seeking relaxation, great food, and genuine hospitality.

10/08/2025: The refuge is closed without any notice online or on any signage. Those choosing route 1A, skipping the Slingia mountain hut, will walk for 2.5 hours, finding themselves without any food or water.
01/08/2025: The refuge, closed in 2025 for renovation, can be reached from Slingia (parking lot) after about a 2.5-hour walk. It's easy, except for the last stretch below the waterfall, which is quite steep, but the road is wide and safe! The views are fantastic! And outside the refuge, there are green meadows, rocks, and very picturesque lakes. We ate there years ago, very well, but I don't know what we'll see after the renovation!

06/08/2025: Unprepared staff. I asked for an American coffee with cream and I received an espresso macchiato. I tried to explain politely. The girl was stern-faced and pretended not to understand. It's the only place in Val Venosta where I won't return and I've noticed the same attitude with other customers.

28/08/2025: Unfortunately, the music was way too loud, but otherwise everything was great. You pay right when you order, which seems odd at first, but it's also convenient because you don't have to wait for service to pay afterward. The food arrives super quickly and is very tasty.
17/08/2025: Pretty much as expected. A restaurant next to a large playground at the end of the cable car line (a ski slope in winter). Prices are on the higher side, the service is decent, and the food is typical, without much creativity. Definitely more expensive than down in the valley. The playground below the chalet is huge, but unfortunately not really practical for entertaining small children — it’s not actually that close.

04/08/2025: It was extremely quiet there, except for the guests that were there and were a bit talkative.I missed some music to have a bit more of an ambience, now it felt kind of awkward to be in such an old place that looks like it hasn’t been refurbished since the early eighties.
But if you’re looking for a vintage spot, this is the place to go.
Food wise it’s ok, the specials were available and ok, pappardelle mit pfifferlinge, so were the pizzas. They may not have been the best ever, but certainly not the worst either. Nothing was burnt, thin pizzas. But the flavour could be better.
For days when you need a quick pizza and if you’re ok with them speaking German, just pay them a visit

27/05/2025: A lot is being lost. Full of drug addicts. It has become a drug dealing area
25/05/2025: The station is not brand new but all in all functional. Even if it does not have the visual impact of Centrale, it is well connected (metro M2, trams and buses) and quite easy to reach.
It has 12 platforms, with many regional and suburban trains, so it is especially useful for commuters and students. Inside there are the essential services: ticket office, bar, newsstand and bathrooms (paid but well kept).
The structure is a bit dated in some parts, even if the modern terminal designed by Gardella in the 90s gives it an extra touch. Perhaps more raised platforms would be needed, but for the rest, a positive experience. Practical station, without too many pretensions.
