12/07/2024: We had dinner as a group of 10, adults and small children, and had a great time. The staff were very kind and knowledgeable, the food was very good and the prices were honest. Add that we dined on a beautiful outdoor terrace in a pleasant and peaceful setting, and what more could you ask for?! I would happily return!

02/07/2024: The place is very nice and the staff were friendly and polite, but the food was really unpleasant. We took three savory bruschetta starters to share and unfortunately the combinations were unrelated and without salt. As a first course I ordered the gnocchi stuffed with ricotta with clams and scampi with saffron: I don't judge the raw material, but the ricotta had a really sour note on the bottom, so much so that I couldn't even finish the dish. Sin.

24/08/2024: Excellent food, but shame about the wait

08/08/2024: Delicious home made toscanian food, in the local cozy restaurant. One menu with local dishes, wine and dessert. Strongly recommend, restaurant is located away from the main road in the middle of the toscanian fields which makes it feels more local and less busy 🙂

21/08/2024: The gluten-free pizzas were literally raw. They are inedible. The products seem really badly made, also I see that some people say that they look raw! Very bad

20/08/2024: unfortunately they gave me the wrong pizza, I had asked for the bufalina and they brought me the Margherita, still making me pay for the bufalina. I realized this after having 5 more pizzas and being in a hurry. also the gluten free pizzas were undercooked, all the pizzas received had cheese and tomato which looked cheap, had a strange taste and were not fresh at all. hard and fine pizza, with products that I could also buy at the supermarket. even dear for what they are..

23/09/2023: Minestra casarecci con ragù bolognese, patate al forno, e dolce di mele con vin rosso, tutto fantastico! Lo consiglio!

07/09/2023: Top food, friendly staff. We got a good seat without a reservation. The wild boar ragout was very tender and very well seasoned. We had the best Aperol Spritz there.

26/06/2024: We ordered two cooked pizzas, we received two unleavened shoe soles, thin as paper, with very cheap mozzarella. Never seen worse, plus €12 for a cooked pizza we hoped it would be edible...

23/06/2024: I don't like making negative reviews like this but it's a must. I think management has recently changed. My friends and I went to dinner as soon as we arrived at the campsite and I can't find the words to describe the disorganization of this place. My table but also everyone around waited two hours to have the first course, on every table there were mix-ups with the orders, for example in mine my second course and that of my friend disappeared into thin air. We arrived at 8pm and the starter arrived at 10pm. The bread was so hard and old that I would have given it to the chickens, certainly not at a restaurant table. Then, as I was saying, the second course disappeared so to apologize we they said they would make us a Genoese pasta and instead a pasta arrived with the cacciucco sauce that had been brought earlier to my friends. A very rude waiter, the others disorganised. At a certain point many customers were protesting in front of the kitchen. Having said that, the dishes were heavy, the fried seafood remained on my stomach all night. Anyway we let this bad evening go and a few evenings later we got the pizzas, they tasted like nothing with poor ingredients and dough. Very fine pizza. And as if that wasn't enough, two pizzas cost 23 euros.

22/07/2024: We chose this hotel for a short weekend in Marina di Bibbona and if we were to return, we would certainly choose it again. Well-kept resort, courteous and helpful staff (as soon as we arrived they immediately suggested places to see and restaurants to eat in), but above all the Bolgheri Marina Resort is just a few steps from the sea and a few kilometers from the center and this allowed us to leave the car at the car park (with only €10 per day) and enjoy our stay in total relaxation, even taking a few walks. Abundant breakfast and access to the swimming pool with umbrella and sunbed. All in an atmosphere of relaxation and peace that characterizes the resort. Also considering the cost, absolutely accessible and honest (not only of the resort but of the place in general), I recommend it!!

17/07/2024: We stayed in the junior suite. Room was big and mostly clean, although we found the empty shampoo bottles from the previous guests. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. The suite could have been furnished better, felt very empty. The jacuzzi tub not only didn't work, but was difficult to use as a regular bathtub as there was only the option to fill with the wand which was slow and only provided tepid water. Shower was very nice however. Our biggest complaint was that the wifi doesn't reach the suite. Breakfast was good but unspectacular. Pool appeared to be recently relined and was very pleasant. Felt like it closed too early however (7pm). I agree with other reviews mentioning confusion over the four star rating. The saving grace is that the cost was appropriate. Had we paid a "four star price" we would have been very dissatisfied.
