31/12/2024: Ci siano fermati a pranzo durante il nostro viaggio ed abbiamo mangiato veramente bene. Antipasto, pasta, carne, vino: tutto TOP! Servizio ottimo: attento e gentilissimo. Se passate da queste parti dovete assolutamente fermarvi: consigliatissimo!

13/02/2025: Place located in a small Arezzo area, excellent for a lunch break enjoying excellent traditional Italian dishes and above all a good Neapolitan pizza. Kind and friendly staff thanks to their Neapolitan soul. Clean and spacious room. I would happily return.

14/01/2025: Improved venue. A few more things to do to get 5 stars. However, the pizza is good and made as it should be. Update for business lunch. For the price paid it is worth the stop for refreshments.

23/08/2024: We arrived at 3.00 pm in Civitella di Val di Chiana, a very sunny and very quiet village, without any possibility of drinking or eating anything for lunch. We inform the owner of our arrival, on the table at the entrance we take the keys for the ROOF room. Once you reach the room by climbing the steps, a very large, bright room opens up, with a wonderful panoramic view, with an internal staircase to access a small terrace with two chairs and a round table, and a deckchair. The small terrace overlooks half the church square and the other half the panoramic view of the valley, fan in the room (I barely passed under it, I had to lower my head every time I passed under it) shower with little possibility of soaping up, to use the toilet I had to bend down the head (I'm 184cm tall). the restaurant of the b&b was closed and we were not told anything, we only found out when we arrived... to make a long story short there was nothing to eat... at least until dinner, we were not told that we had to book either at the BOTTEGHINA or at the OSTERIA il FORO. Which remain open one day at a time.... for dinner we manage to eat at 10.20pm at the box office ........the next day breakfast at the b&b, we point out to the owner that at midday there is no place to have lunch in Civitella, in midday the owner made us two good first courses and two second courses with Chianina bresaola and good cheeses....for dinner we went with a reservation to the tavern Il Foro for dinner......and the next day we left for Aprica .

12/10/2024: Chiamiamo per prenotare un tavolo per 8 persone, avvisando che non saremmo arrivati comunque prima delle 21:30, e se quindi fosse possibile prenotare per le 21:30/45…dicendo quindi già prima di prenotare l’orario in cui saremmo arrivati. Arriviamo, il tempo di sederci e a malapena di aprire il menu, arriva la cameriera che ci dice testuali parole “siccome la cucina deve chiudere starò qui a guardarvi e mettervi pressione così fate prima”… e già avevamo capito l’andazzo. Ordiniamo, portano 8 patatine fritte, servite su un ciotolino di carta uguale alle sagre (ma non uguale di prezzo). Arrivano le pizze, mangiamo, ci sparecchiano. E chiediamo 8 caffè. Arrivano i primi 5 caffè, ma gli altri 3 tardano ad arrivare, nonostante il locale fosse praticamente vuoto. Aspettiamo onde evitare di sembrare noiosi, ma continuano a non arrivare, le cameriere continuano a fissarci come per farci alzare allora chiediamo il resto dei caffè che fine avessero fatto… ci risponde la cameriera più giovane (che ha servito tra l’altro tutta la sera ai tavoli con i capelli slegati) dicendoci “purtroppo la macchinetta si è rotta qualche minuto fa”… Facendo finta di crederci… dirlo prima no? Anziché farci aspettare inutilmente. Se non avessimo chiesto nulla noi ancora probabilmente saremmo lì ad aspettare i 3 caffè! Per quanto riguarda la pulizia, tralasciamo… evitiamo di dire qualcosa…

17/01/2025: Il ristorante Il Vesuvio offre un menù vario con opzioni di carne, pesce e pizzeria, adatto a diversi gusti. La qualità del cibo è nella media, mentre il servizio è veloce e il prezzo conveniente. Un’opzione discreta per un pasto informale.

03/10/2024: Pesce di qualità su questo non vi è dubbio ma cucinato malissimo . Peccato rispetto al passato è molto peggiorato . Linguine allo scoglio terribili fatte con ogni probabilità con il concentrato di pomodoro , frittura gommosa e non masticabile . Forse dovreste cambiare qualcosa in cucina . Personale di sala gentile . I dolci invece erano ottimi .
