28/10/2025: Very pleasant stay at B&B Villa Meo, very clean and in a strategic location directly on the sea, I recommend it.
11/09/2025: A pleasant discovery! We dined twice at this restaurant near the sea.
We tried the linguine with lupini beans and the house specialty pasta, the stuffed buttons, the fried fish, the shrimp and pistachio rolls, and the baked pauro. Everything was truly excellent!
The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, and the service was kind and attentive.
The prices were fair!
Highly recommended!

24/11/2025: A truly beautiful, well-designed venue with delicious food. These organized events were also very tasty, like the all-you-can-eat focaccia or the delicious charcuterie and cheese platter. The only flaw, if we can call it that, was the waitress, who was obviously in a hurry to clear the table, almost taking our plates away with food still on them. The rest of the staff, however, was very friendly and professional. I hope this review of mine can help them continue to improve their service.

14/11/2025: Excellent Scicillian restaurant in the center of Messina, far off main stream Italian cooking. You need a reservation.
08/11/2025: As foreigners, we were very disappointed with the food we ordered. We were on a cruise and the restaurant came highly recommended, but it wasn't worth it. The service and location were very good, and the staff were very attentive.

10/10/2025: I think I've been a good customer and would have liked to continue being one, but the young owner is too fickle for my tastes, smiling and helpful one day, sulking and indolent the next when I ask a simple question.
The service is decent but sometimes a bit counterintuitive.
The rotisserie is decent but with above-average prices; the restaurant upstairs offers fairly good meat.
What a shame! Customers, especially the good ones, need to be kept close.
This review isn't about your competitors, but about a dissatisfied former customer.

20/09/2025: A good place to eat seafood is essential. They cook quite well, with an excellent slice of pauro, and a good mixed fried fish platter with various types of fish. Perhaps the shrimp and calamari were missing, but the cuttlefish made up for it. The fish appetizer, which was rather sparse, could use a rethink. All in all, a place worth trying. And last but not least, the service was impeccable and fast. The only flaw is the location, which is from the 1980s, but the quality of the food makes up for it. It's been closed for good for several months now.

17/06/2025: Pidoni and arancini made in house and it is better to book them, the best ever eaten! It is both a bar and a tobacconist and the owners are very kind, highly recommended if you pass by those parts!!
