03/01/2025: Overall I liked everything. The welcome, the friendly service, the quality of the food, the excellent choice of wines and the attention to those who are blind. As soon as I return to Sicily, it will be one of my stops. You should always book in advance as it is always full. Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. It's worth a try.

19/01/2025: Four people for half lunch. Spend €90.
Two house appetizers, mostly cheeses. Four second courses of lamb meat (total of just 1 kg).
Two side dishes, one of which is tomato and the other is green salad.
0.750 liters of house wine and 0.750 liters of natural water.
Tablecloth and paper cups.
Now I'll detail the costs:
-Seats n.4 €.8
-Water lt. €0.750. 2
-House wine lt. €0.750.5
-Salad n.2 €.5
-Second course served on a common plate and placed in the center of the table €.48
- Starters n.2 €.22
Specification:
A kilogram of meat sold at 50 euros per kilo (cost at the butcher's shop is €13 per kg).
The price of €22 for 2 starters is exaggerated: some vegetables, 4 slices of salami, coppa, raw ham and 4 pieces of ricotta.
Question: "If we took the first one, how much would we have spent?"
€90. They seem like a robbery to me due to the quality and quantity consumed.
In other much more elegant places with tables not set with tablecloth and paper cups which offer a certainly more complete menu at a lower price.
Another flaw: they don't bring you any menu with prices so you'll never know how much you spend.
I was disappointed and for sure at least I will never return.

25/02/2025: I had the pleasure of dining at La Baracca Du Rizzu in Ucria and I must say it was an amazing experience! Located in an enchanting location, this trattoria offers a welcoming and authentic atmosphere that makes you immediately feel at home.
The menu is full of traditional Sicilian dishes, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I particularly appreciated the Nebrodi cured meats and cheeses, which were simply delicious. The grilled meat and rolls were also outstanding and cooked to perfection.
The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile. The restaurant is perfect for large groups, thanks to the large spaces and the availability of outdoor tables.
Another plus is the quality-price ratio: the dishes are plentiful and the prices are more than reasonable. I highly recommend visiting La Baracca Du Rizzu if you are in the area, you won't regret it!
