28/09/2025: Beware of tourist rip-offs! We were charged €9.00 for two regular granites. Aside from the fact that the price is already higher than at other bars in town, we were also charged a €1.50 service charge (according to the owner: "because they brought the granites to our table.") Absolutely outrageous and a rip-off. Such a charge is normally only charged by restaurants for table service when dining. We haven't experienced anything like this at any other bar in Sicily. We won't be visiting this bar again.

02/10/2025: A restaurant worth a detour. Run for 21 years by the couple Manuel, in the kitchen, and Eliana, the hostess.
The digital menu showcases beautiful dishes, including antipasti, pronk, and secondi. The dolce are also highly recommended.
We started with ravioli filled with fish, presented in a lovely fish sauce.
We also had linguine with pink prawns. It came with a superb sauce and beautifully balanced in flavor.
We continued with the crispy fresh fish of the day. Perfectly cooked! The same was true for the Scottish steak tagliata. It came with a green salad with some Parmesan and oil. Delicious!
We finished with a cannelono filled with ricotta and a warm flan with a liquid pistachio filling.
A delicious bottle of Grillo accompanied it, a beautiful white with character.
Everything was served with humor and expert advice. A truly memorable place.

14/11/2025: We celebrated our son Emanuele's 18th birthday in this dream location on October 24, 2025. Every detail was meticulously designed, with large outdoor spaces, a beautiful and elegant indoor dining room, and a spacious and well-equipped kitchen. The "grotto" was a truly unforgettable natural spectacle. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and compliments to Cristiana, who assisted me before and during the event, ensuring everything ran flawlessly. It will definitely be our choice again for a future event. Moira

22/08/2025: The granitas are excellent... a bit too long to wait, perhaps due to an unfortunate moment of overcrowding that could have been handled differently... but the granita—especially the pistachio one with cream—is worth the wait!

12/12/2025: The service was atrocious. The employee handling our payment was rude, and we were overcharged with no clear explanation, providing an unclear receipt (likely due to tourist pricing). When we challenged the inflated cost, the staff responded by making a comment in Italian and laughing at us as we walked out. This is an honest warning: Do not go there.

Tri Quarti e Na Gazzusa

04/01/2026: While visiting Santo Stefano di Camastra, we were looking for a typical restaurant where we could sample traditional dishes. A Google search led us to the "Tri Quarti e na Gazzusa" restaurant.
The restaurant is medium-sized, with about ten tables, and furnished in a rustic style. It's decorated with photos of various characters and local ceramics.
A kind and friendly lady welcomed us and promptly brought us our menus. The service was quite fast, and our dishes arrived within minutes.
For lunch, we ordered: a rustic appetizer with cured meats and cheeses, excellent and plentiful; two different first courses, tagliatelle with Nebrodi black pig ragù (delicious!) and ravioli with swordfish and lime (delicious!); finally, we finished the meal with an excellent grilled meat.
Afterward, I didn't have room for dessert 😂
I don't know if we'll return to Santo Stefano, but if we do, we'll definitely return to "Tri Quarti"!
21/11/2025: We returned after a year, and stopped specifically for lunch.
I'd call it a little restaurant, something more than the usual trattoria.
A small but well-organized place, family-run, with plenty of courtesy and kindness.
We found the same style and the same home-style cooking, always well-presented, excellent, and plentiful.
Good, high-quality food, generous portions, and the mixed grill made with quality meats.
What more can I say? We'll definitely stop by as soon as we're passing through.
