09/11/2025: We were completely satisfied with the family birthday lunch we organized at this restaurant. Federica, the owner, was very helpful and proactive in accommodating our requests, both regarding the menu and the table settings. In particular, she took great care in creating a customized menu for one of our guests with food allergies. The fixed-price seafood menu is varied and plentiful, with well-prepared, tasty, and balanced dishes, where the freshness of the freshly caught fish takes center stage. Recommended.

The boat with fresh fish on it is a distinctive feature. The sea view from the windows is truly stunning. The sea was rough that day, which I find truly pleasant to see...
I give 4 stars to everything because everything was truly spot-on. I leave 5 stars to starred restaurants, but I think that, based on my personal scale, 4 stars are truly the best, and that an excellent restaurant knows how to work well with customers, ensuring their 100% satisfaction.

21/10/2025: The waiter was very friendly and attentive, until I saw the parking tickets while I was finishing my beer in a relatively short time. Shame on Italy, what has happened to it? Tolerance and generosity are new foreign concepts. I'm sad, but the prices match the country's greed and power.

Here, in these ancestral Mediterranean lands, lies, in the heart of a small Italian village, a café you cannot miss. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.
2 cappuccinos + 1 hot chocolate (and 2 free glasses of water) = €5! Yes, €5. Very attractive prices.
A smiling owner, an authentic atmosphere, blended with the customs of the locals who gather there daily.
We'll be back in two days to round off our already sunny stay.

The service was always prompt and super friendly!
The prices are also completely reasonable.
You can order food from the pizzeria across the street, have it delivered, or pick it up and eat it at the bar.
The pizzeria is a must-try: the best pizza in Italy!

16/09/2025: Takeaway business, it has an area in front with about ten tables, they prepare your order, you bring it to the table, you eat and dispose of the waste in the containers located behind the area.
03/09/2025: My experience as a German: very friendly service, even if you don't speak fluent Italian. (You should definitely try it.) It's the best pizza I've ever had around Sorso. (We've been here for six weeks every year for the past eight years.) We'll be back again and again. So, a word of advice for unfriendly tourists: leave and never come back. Respect the people.

20/08/2025: We had dinner with my boyfriend and friends last night, and I can sum up our experience like this: good food, slightly less service and price.
I'll start by saying we booked last minute, but if you can't serve us in a timely manner, say no; don't make us wait an hour for our food after ordering. We also had to ask three times if they could please bring us water. The food makes up for it; I had pizza, and it was very good, and the other people who had starters and main courses were also satisfied. The surprise came at the cashier when, in our opinion, the price was decidedly disproportionate.
I'm not saying I won't return, but I can say that the service could definitely be improved.

11/12/2025: Food is amazing. Stuff is lovely. I would suggest that they charge a fixed rate for delivery instead of “per item” as it doesn’t make any sense: I can order a giant pizza and pay 1€ for delivery while if I order 2 baby pizzas I pay 2€ 🤷🏼♀️ (1€ per item). Anyway, highly recommended (make sure you call them early to grant you fainé as it solds out quickly on weekends). 👍🏼

23/09/2025: I visited this restaurant on Saturday evening, and while I understand it may have been a particularly difficult day, the experience didn't live up to expectations. I ordered at 9:30 PM, but the food didn't arrive until 11:00 PM. I learned that the pizza chef had been ill and three waiters hadn't shown up, which explains the delays, but proactive communication at the table would have helped manage the wait better.
The pizza, unfortunately, had a bland dough, and the sauce was completely devoid of salt, making it tasteless. The fried calamari was rubbery and cold, as were the fries, which seemed to have been undercooked. It's a shame, because the ingredients seemed fresh, but the execution wasn't convincing. Another negative aspect is the parking situation: there's none, and you're forced to leave your car in a "campagnetta" under the trees, which is impractical and inconvenient. The bathrooms also left much to be desired, appearing dirty and poorly maintained.
I understand that a bad night can happen, especially in exceptional circumstances, but I believe that greater attention to the quality of the food and the maintenance of the facilities can make a difference. I hope to return in the future and find a more positive experience, because the potential is there! €240 for 8 people, not even the decency of a discount, after all the inconvenience.
