24/08/2025: A nice bar in the center of Palagiano. We stumbled upon it by chance on a Sunday morning, and it was unfortunately a bit crowded on a hot Sunday in August. However, the staff were friendly and the pasticciotti were delicious.

01/09/2025: ✨ A Hidden Gem – Café Marilu ✨ We happened to pass by the sweetest lady, Marilu, who runs her own little place with both a gelateria and top-quality espresso. We were immediately drawn in by the amazing aroma and taste. The espresso is absolutely perfect – just as it should be in Italy – and the gelato… well, it was so good that we simply had to get another. Everything is homemade from scratch, and you can truly taste the quality. The quality is outstanding, the prices are very fair, and you can feel the love and passion Marilu puts into her place and the dolce. Marilu runs the café herself together with her two daughters, and her warmth and charm make the experience even more special. For the gelato, we especially recommend the pistachio, almond, and tiramisu – but honestly, every flavor is soft, creamy, and full of taste. We’re from Copenhagen and are deeply impressed by the incredibly high quality. If you have the time and opportunity, stop by, say hello to Marilu – you won’t regret it! Who knows, maybe next year she’ll even have a pistachio farm – and if so, we’ll definitely be back to taste even more. 🌿🍨☕

21/01/2026: You enter a place that seems frozen in the 80s, the staff and the manager make you feel at home. Everything is very retro, but the seafood dishes are exceptional and at the right price, which you wouldn't expect with that quality. Fresh dishes cooked to order with truly excellent quality in the choice of raw materials. Congratulations!

30/06/2025: When you order a sandwich/puccia in a BUTCHER'S SHOP, the meat should be cooked on the spot and then assemble the sandwich with the other fresh ingredients ordered, and not already all prepared and cooked and then simply add or worse remove the ingredients from inside based on the order and reheat it. A disgrace. Baked potatoes also cooked and reheated. Hamburgers with a plasticized consistency, the meat suffers from the various cooking performed and is not fresh at all. In short, a terrible experience. 🐷MEAT TO REHEAT🐮🍔 IN AUGUST🍔

12/12/2025: Friendly staff, cozy and clean room, comfortable bed. I had a bit of a wait in the restaurant even though there were only two other tables for dinner, but I ate well. Breakfast could have been better.

12/10/2025: A good hotel, with trained and kind staff. The hotel is probably renovated, with all the electronic equipment. Video cameras, blinds and windows in the bathroom electrically controlled by switches, USB sockets. Cleaning is done daily, but, from my point of view, it is not a 4-star hotel because of the very small rooms, shower 90 x 90 cm. Overall a good hotel for a small town like Palagiano
