From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness, friendliness, and great professionalism. The staff was impeccable and completely impartial, despite our "young" age (21-22) compared to the quality of the restaurant—a detail that was far from expected and truly appreciated.
The display of meat cuts was a wonderful idea. Excellent attention to detail, too, like the sterilized towels in the bathroom.
The quality of the service and products was simply excellent: everything was carefully prepared, the flavors extraordinary, and the timing perfect.
5/5☆ well deserved. We'll definitely be back!

26/09/2025: Calling it a restaurant is an understatement: it's simply beautiful and unexpected.
You'd never expect the beauty and attention to detail I found on Tuesday evening in this sprawling establishment.
The same attention to detail is evident in the food and service, which are excellent, excellent, excellent, if not excellent.
It's a given that I'll be returning even though I'm 1,100 km away.

25/09/2025: After a year, I returned to this charming, historic restaurant, composed of many small rooms, but I was disappointed. The traditional Salento cuisine, once of a notable standard, has unfortunately declined in both quality and presentation. All the appetizers were mediocre, the first courses, including the maritati, were decent, and the guaccetto was exceptional. The desserts were good, and the recommended wine was mediocre. The service was friendly but confused and unprofessional. The price was high for the quality of the food.

Conveniently located near Mancaversa, it offers a relaxed atmosphere with green areas and open spaces to enjoy the outdoors. The park is clean and well-maintained, although some areas could benefit from more shade on hot days. Its proximity to the coast makes it perfect to combine with a beach day in Gallipoli.

19/01/2026: I wanted to try this pizzeria... I was very happy... the pizza was really good, you could taste the quality of the ingredients... I also liked the beer, as well as the dessert... very nice place, there are still some details missing from what I've been told, and there are also outdoor tables... very friendly staff, wearing masks as they should these days... definitely recommended 😋 I reiterate my opinion... I've been back, the pizza was really good 👍👍👍

I'm back to update this review... Last night I went to Made in Sud again... to my great surprise, I saw that the outdoor dining area was available, even if a few details are still missing... it's simply AMAZING!!!
So what more could you ask for... Spectacular location... delicious pizza, craft beer, and, to finish, a delicious dessert prepared by the delightful Chef Andrea... Congratulations!!! 👏👏👏 After 2 years, I'm back once again to update my review. The pizzas are always excellent, but Made in Sud also boasts excellent cuisine, starting from the appetizers to the two first courses... land and sea, expertly prepared by Chef Andrea.
The hospitality, food, location, and staff were truly fabulous... I highly recommend it 👏👏👏👏👏
After quite a while, I'm back to update my review. The dining room has changed a bit, with additional tables. Last night I ordered the "Mister Satan," which was delicious. I also had the chocolate soufflé... the warm heart was perfect.
