13/05/2025: What a wonderful evening and a fantastic restaurant. Outstanding dishes, lovingly prepared, that taste even better than they look. The appetizers are outstanding. The pasta is divine. Unfortunately, we couldn't manage a second course because we were already full. The desserts, especially the tiramisu, were a wonderful ending. The waiters are so pleasantly friendly and welcoming. We thank you for the English-speaking service and the relaxing time on our last evening in bella Puglia. You're doing a great job, please keep it up. ❤️🙏🏽

16/05/2025: Beautiful castle, at the entrance together with the ticket they give a guide to the visit done really well, with the explanation of the various rooms and a detailed description of the beautiful facade, one of a kind. You can also visit independently because along the route there are signs that provide explanations, and in any case the staff and guides are very available to provide further information. Furthermore inside the castle there are currently two exhibitions that are worth visiting: the photographic exhibition by Giuseppe Palumbo with the video interview with the photographer's daughter, who tells in a sweet and moving, but also fun way, the life of her father and his mission as a reporter. The other exhibition is about tarantulism, I don't know how to describe it, they are photographic and video reports with rare, if not unique, images of women bitten by the tarantula, the tarantolate precisely, of their manifestations and the rites to free them. Unmissable! At least for those like me who are looking for authentic testimonies of our lost traditions. Furthermore on the terrace of the castle there is a bar/restaurant with a wonderful view; unfortunately it was closed when I visited because it opens in the evening. If possible I will return at a different time to have an aperitif at sunset. I had the impression that the Castello volante association is doing an excellent job in keeping this splendid castle alive and accessible thanks to the numerous cultural initiatives hosted.

01/06/2025: I camerieri non sanno distinguere due tipi di pasta, CHE PURE VENDONO, ci mettono mezz'ora a portare due caffè, la carne era secca. Questo posto fa schifo

23/05/2025: It's a lovely place! Very clean and well-kept rooms! The whole structure is really beautiful! The dinner is also delicious! Breakfast by the pool with their homemade jams was really pleasant! Antonio, Lucia and all their collaborators are very kind and ready to give advice on places to visit! The location is strategic for visiting Salento because it is central. Highly highly highly recommended!

11/05/2025: nonostante fosse tutto prenotato, ci hanno offerto un tavolo ovviamente fino all’arrivo dei clienti prenotati. Porzioni moooolto abbondanti. Buona qualità della carne e del l’antipasto misto. Personale super gentile, tutto molto giovane, ma molto professionale. Da tornarci sicuramente. Super consigliato

25/05/2025: Spesso si scrivono recensioni dettate da momenti di frustrazione personale o da qualche disappunto sul servizio o gusti poco graditi. Dovremmo sempre ricordare che in ogni caso e per ogni volta che si va a mangiare in un ristorante, c’è sempre qualcuno che suda per farci stare seduti a mangiare. Pizza buona e che invoglia ad essere consumata tutta. Sì sente che viene cotta nel forno a legna. Un appunto felice sarebbe da fare alla ragazza che ci ha servito, Veronica che con la sua simpatia ha fatto passare in secondo piano il fatto che la mia pizza sia arrivata con un bel po’ di ritardo rispetto agli altri commensali. Nonostante questo piccolo inconveniente, abbiamo trascorso una bella serata. Riguardo alla location, aggiusterei la seconda sala che rispetto alla prima sembra di essere in un altro posto. Il conto è giusto per quello che abbiamo ordinato.
