27/06/2025: We had dinner last night at Piccola Osteria and it was an excellent dinner. We immediately understood that we were in the right place, the welcome was warm, we opted for the 5-course tasting and the girl gave us the opportunity to choose the dishes we preferred from the à la carte menu. Appetizer: frozen tomato soup with prawn crudités and almonds EXCELLENT, mussels au gratin in pecorino sauce and confit cherry tomatoes EXCELLENT, rice Acquerello lemon and squid EXCELLENT, fillet of sea bass with purple potato crumble EXCELLENT, frisa tiramisu EXCELLENT. Absolutely recommended place, kind staff (true), EXCELLENT value for money €35.00 per person! Long live Puglia, long live our beautiful Italy!
06/06/2025: Very nice place, a confirmation of the highest level, exceptional seasonal raw materials, one of the best restaurants in Salento where you don't expect it, kindness, courtesy and professionalism. In short, the best you can expect from those who work to make customers happy without worrying about their convenience. We will return and we will return.

14/07/2025: Matanzenu, a place almost unique in its style. We can find typical dishes unique in their preparation. Fast service, welcoming, down-to-earth like the owner, to spend an evening to have confirmation.
13/07/2025: Dinner on a Saturday evening in July. A welcoming atmosphere with spacious vaulted spaces typical of Salento and tastefully furnished. Professional and courteous staff. A smile is always present. Service is prompt. Menu: excellent fried appetizers; meter-long pizza with authentic and tasty ingredients, with a wide selection of pairings; roast meats, excellent. What more can I say? A highly recommended experience, followed by a stroll through an enchanting village.

Wonderful garden, a relaxing atmosphere!
If you want to eat a delicious pizza, with dough, light and easy to digest then you should definitely stop here
18/05/2025: We had some fried food and pizzas with some friends. The pizzas were good, but we were not happy with the service, very slow, you can't wait almost 2 hours to eat a pizza even on a Saturday night.

01/07/2025: Ate here twice while staying in the area. Great friendly service and delicious food. Pizzas are outstanding. Also enjoyed the pastas, swordfish, cheese/ham, and more.
19/06/2025: We have been frequenting this restaurant-pizzeria for a long time and each time it is a confirmation: excellent quality, impeccable welcome and a pleasant atmosphere.
The pizza is among the best we have ever eaten: light and fragrant dough and very fresh ingredients.
The staff is friendly, professional and makes us feel at home.
It is rare to find a place that manages to maintain this level over time. Congratulations to all the staff.

13/07/2025: Artisanal gelato with unusual flavors. My favorite was the almond, slightly sweet with a full flavor of chopped almonds. The dark chocolate and pistachio were also excellent. All were incredibly creamy, with an intense yet never overpowering flavor. All the other flavors are worth trying.

21/07/2023: Se tu che leggi sei abituato alla cortesia, all'efficienza, al buon senso e all'educazione, non è il locale per te ..... I CAMERIERI giovani e alle prime esperienze, COMANDANO IL LOCALE ... e poi, alla fine, non sanno fare neppure il lavoro più semplice del mondo .... Ti dicono tranquillamente "aspetta" e non ti permettono neppure di parlare .... Per una colazione al tavolo devi aspettare almeno 30 minuti a prescindere da quante persone ci sono nel locale. Arriva l'ordinazione al tavolo ed è quasi sempre sbagliata .... I prezzi sono quelli di un locale in pieno centro di una grande città anche se si trova in periferia di un piccolo paese. Il locale sarebbe molto meglio con un' altra gestione, perché i prodotti grazie ai pasticcieri sono buoni, ma il contorno è così negativo che essi perdono gusto. In questo locale può essere frequentato occasionalmente e da persone che non lavorano e che possono permettersi di perdere molto tempo.
