24/08/2025: Dinner organized by longtime friends, a delightful discovery, the fish was incredibly fresh.
The hot appetizer was excellent, unique but not overly sophisticated, a mix of unique flavors: tzatziki with amberjack skewer, octopus (a little tough, but that can happen) on a bed of potatoes and Tropea onions, shrimp wrapped in melted mozzarella... I opted for the crostini with Cantabrian anchovies...
We shared an excellent turbot stewed with Taggiasca olives, mixed fried fish with some excellent vegetables... Side dishes: excellent baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, and salad. Since the French fries are frozen, perhaps it would be a good idea to remove them from the menu.
15/08/2025: A top recommended place, all is fresh and prepered with knowledge and experience. The row fish and the warm starters are spectacular, we went several times in 3 weeks and we tried more or less all the menu. Everithing is absolutely delicious. We definitely came back as soon as we are in Salento

21/08/2025: Very interesting little place... I arrived here without great expectations, but I found a place with incredible attention to taste and detail. My girlfriend and I ordered the six-course mixed antipasto platter, and the taste and the attention to flavor contrasts in each appetizer were incredible. The first courses were also truly excellent and sophisticated, finishing with a classic dessert, tiramisu—a truly delicious tiramisu. What's most impressive is the incredibly competitive price, dishes crafted with a flair that's reminiscent of even renowned restaurants with some national/international recognition. However, six appetizers, two first courses, one dessert, water, and a cover charge for two came to barely €50... I'll definitely return, a little gem in a "lost" village.
The only flaw is that I realize this isn't the kind of place for large groups. The place is cute and themed, but quite small, and in my opinion, incapable of handling tables of 12-13 people, but obviously, that's not their intention. Really satisfied, 5 well-deserved stars.
17/08/2025: Wonderful experience, excellent food, and knowledgeable staff. The dishes are well-crafted and elegantly presented. The assassina with stracciatella and tarallo was excellent, and it arrived on the plate with a flame. Congratulations!

10/08/2025: A pizzeria in the middle of the street, the waitresses are pleasant, as for the pizza, a thin and hard dough, very cooked, well garnished but not very edible..

26/05/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We had some pizzas and the cuttlefish which were all excellent. The quality and value were very good.
12/05/2025: The food was spectacular, fresh, tasty and more than reasonably priced. The starter and pasta portions were very generous, the Tagliata (steak) was very tender and juicy. The pizzas are also delicious.

10/08/2025: A restaurant in the heart of the small community of San Michele Salentino... a seafood restaurant that's always top-notch. I always return and try something new every time. A culinary experience worth living. The owner, Amauri, is always friendly and even caters to us with dishes that aren't on the menu.

16/06/2025: From the moment you step through the door, you are enveloped in a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The decor is designed down to the smallest details, creating a perfect environment for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends.
But let's get to the food: this is where Ristodante really shines. We started with some appetizers that were a real riot of fresh flavors and high-quality ingredients. Then, we tried both the restaurant dishes and the pizzas, and we were amazed by the mastery with which each dish is prepared. The pizza is undoubtedly among the best I have ever tasted: light dough, very fresh ingredients and a perfect balance of flavors. The restaurant dishes, on the other hand, offer a touch of innovation while maintaining a strong link with culinary tradition. Every bite is a delight!
The service is impeccable: the staff is attentive, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They make you feel at home, but with the professionalism of a high-level venue. They were excellent in recommending the right dishes and wines to accompany our dinner.
In short, Il Ristodante is a rare gem. If you are looking for a place to enjoy excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and impeccable service, look no further. I can't wait to go back!

The food was exceptional, their pizzas are the best we have had in Italy and the staff could not be more welcoming.
A real special place and we will certainly be going back.
09/08/2025: The staff were kind, helpful, attentive, and thoughtful. The meat was excellent! There were 4 of us. The prices were fair. We had an appetizer of cured meats, salad, and chips. We chose three types of meat at the counter: a plate of sliced veal, two large semi-spicy sausages, and four pork chops. Drinks included: 1 bottle of sparkling water, 2 Cokes, 1 0.50 cl Nastro Azzurro beer, a half-liter of rosé wine with ice, and 2 panpizzas flavored with rosemary. Finally, for dessert, we had 2 chocolate spumoni and 1 Amaro del Capo liqueur. We spent a total of €32.50 each. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back! Excellent value for money!
