16/10/2025: Great experience, always a wonderful place to stop for lunch or dinner. Delicious pizza. Beautiful location on the Canale di Mezzo del Mincio, in the center of Peschiera.
14/10/2025: We went in for coffee and cake. The most expensive coffee on the entire trip. The selection of coffees was small. The coffee was sour, not good. The cakes were okay, although the tiramisu was very sweet, and the other one we had was so full of alcohol that it was hard to eat. Friendly service, nice view of the canal.

13/10/2025: We had some delicious pizzas!! 🍕 We actually tried other ones in the area, and this one is by far the best. Highly recommended ❤️
04/10/2025: Even though I live nearby, I'd never noticed this little restaurant, being off the main drag.
We stumbled upon it almost by chance via The Fork, and it was a delightful discovery.
In addition to the tasty dishes, we appreciated the friendliness of the staff, especially the chef/owner, who served us and personally described the dishes.
Now that I know it, I'll definitely be back.

28/09/2025: We were very satisfied here this evening. The prociutto e funghi con cipolle pizza was one of the best pizzas we've ever eaten. The grilled fish platter was 10 out of 10. The fish, prawns, and calamari were juicy and hot. The long platter on which everything was arranged was a sight to behold, and all for €25. We paid €4 for the 1/4 glass of very good house wine, red/white. The pizza was €10 plus €1 for the extra onions. I think the photos speak for themselves.

29/09/2025: No, really not again, the food (Lassange) was cold and tasted of alcohol (beer) and Gnocchi cream truffle looked like it had already been digested..Sorry..but we were really angry
21/09/2025: Food was good though the fact that two different pasta dishes arrived simultaneously within 5 minutes of ordering had to make me suspicious about whether they were pre-prepared and microwaved. Suspicion was increased when discovered that parts of the meal were far hotter than others.
Service was rushed and inattentive. Staff seemed miserable except for the very nice older lady who was possibly an owner Atmosphere non existent. All other restaurants we ate at were much better than this.

07/10/2025: A few years ago, the place was a bit more chic and had better reviews, but LaRocca is still a good choice in Peschiera.
Here, you can enjoy a delicious pizza and a glass of wine in a beautiful setting. The Pizza Diavola for €12 is highly recommended! The pasta wasn't bad, but not outstanding either. The service is fast and attentive.
I also picked up a pizza to go the other day; it was always quick and came straight from the oven. I would definitely come back :)
27/09/2025: The pizza is really not good; our dough was still partially raw, and the tomato sauce was completely tasteless. We were extremely disappointed; listen to the reviews.

06/03/2025: I just wanted to say it's a shame, the meat was hard as a rock and it was boiled, I didn't understand how people can even wait to sit down to eat without even knowing what's on the menu of the day, dishes brought to the table without even asking, anyway I wanted to say that I don't understand what people have to eat there besides the filth, I'm ashamed of even having written a review

11/10/2025: We first visited the restaurant five years ago and were thrilled to be eating there again. We were extremely disappointed. The waitress was completely inattentive when ordering; I'm still waiting for my straw. The bread with the carpasco was hard. The portions were children's portions, and they weren't even enough to fill them up. After paying, we stood up, and the waiter pushed in between us to clear the table. Absolutely unacceptable. Walk a few steps toward the harbor; you'll be better off there. Never again, and we're not picky eaters.

20/04/2025: Non ci tornerei neanche se mi offrissero il pranzo/cena. Andate nel ristorante di fronte, peccato che non aveva posto!
11/03/2025: Locale bello ed elegante, personale non troppo simpatico
Qualità del cibo molto mediocre, 11€ per una lasagna alla bolognese che era un’insulto alla vera lasagna. Pasta stracotta, sembrava una lasagna confezionata, anzi con le lasagne confezionate mangiate meglio e spendete sicuramente meno.
Per lo meno le porzioni erano abbondanti
L’unica cosa davvero buona il caffè

16/05/2025: We had the misfortune of having dinner here. The lasagne was bland, watery and overcooked to the point of being mush, carbonara had turned into scrambled egg and the roast potatoes were soggy and cold. I expect everything was frozen and reheated in the microwave. I sent my lasagne back and staff then avoided our table for the rest of the meal, even when it was apparent that several dishes were untouched. They were indifferent when I mentioned the issues with the food. If I was the owner I would be extremely concerned that such poor standard of food is allowed to leave the kitchen as most of it was inedible.
17/04/2025: Ottimo per tutto! Cibo, Prezzi, Posizione! Ci torno sempre volentieri al Ristorante Pizzeria Vecchia Marina; Lo consiglio!
p.s. fanno anche un ulteriore sconto del 10% a chi alloggia all'attiguo Hotel Johnson ! (Ottimo Hotel che consiglio).

02/12/2024: Capita talvolta di prendere tranci di pizza, ma è sempre mezza o anche 3/4 cruda. Immangiabile se non si completa la cottura a casa. Quindi è pesantissima pure sulla bilancia...
04/11/2024: Preso due pezzi di pizza 15x10 e fatti scaldare per mangiare per merenda sul posto. Uno dei due pezzi era crudo mentre l'altro mangiabile ma nulla di speciale. La pizza è stata pesata comprensiva di vassoio tovagli ecc ecc. Pagato 9 euro che sinceramente è sembrato eccessivo sia per quantità che per qualità.
Mai più ...meglio pendersi una pizza da asporto in una delle pizzerie vicine!

03/11/2023: Buonissimo tutto mesu fisso a pranzo 12,50 ...tutto squisito il particolare la briciola (era un burro)ottimo...persone gentili e cucina fatta in casa.
22/10/2023: Schlechtes Essen und sehr teuer. Die Lasagne ist alt und nur Lauwarm der käse ist schon hart und die Nudeln sind schmierig und teigig. Ein Zeichen dafür, das diese Speise schon etliche male aufgewärmt war. Bei einer Pizza kann man ja nichts falsch machen, war aber auch nur mittelmäßig. Die Calamaris waren nicht knusprig.

05/06/2025: Wish I'd have read the reviews before we visited this place. We were attracted to the lovely surroundings and were in need of a rest and a couple of drinks. Fortunately we didn't eat. When we paid at the end we were handed a receipt for 15euros which was more than the menu price however when I checked the credit card bill later they'd actually charged over £15 which must have been about 18 euros. The place is total rip off.
28/05/2025: Terribile!! NON CONSIGLIATO ASSOLUTAMENTE!
Personale menefreghista e non attento al bisogno del cliente.Io e un'amica abbiamo preso il fritto di Lago,ma mai visto cotto per intero dovendo farsi male con le lische senza averlo pulito! Sentendosi dire dal cameriere che dovevamo optare per un'altra cosa se non piaceva! "Finito (per dire)" il fritto non siamo state più considerate per un eventuale dolce/caffè o altro.
Cosa gravissima durante il pasto c'è stato un inconveniente di un insetto dentro un calice di vino pieno, il quale visto più volte dal solito cameriere, non è stato neanche chiesto se potevano cambiarlo o per lo meno non farcelo pagare dato che non è stato quasi consumato ne sostituito!! Prezzi esagerati e differenti dal menu scritto. Ultima cosa penosa è che l'insegna del ristorante in vista è "Pizzeria da Frank " anziché "Pizzeria Bounty"! Molto probabilmente per non poter scrivere recensioni di esperienze pessime come la nostra. Questo non è saper fare quel tipo di lavoro! Potessi dare -10 lo farei.
