29/04/2026: I had the pleasure of eating at Pizza Express and I must say I was truly satisfied.
The pizza is delicious: thin, light, and well-topped, exactly how I like it. I highly recommend the radicchio and Monte Veronese: truly exceptional, one of the best I've ever eaten.
Frankly, I don't understand those who claim the pizza is frozen. I've personally seen that it's refrigerated before cooking, and rightly so, to ensure safety and quality, avoiding leaving it on an unrefrigerated counter. This is professionalism, certainly not a flaw.
Taste can be subjective and therefore debatable, but disparaging someone's work with untrue statements is deeply unfair to me.
Furthermore, the manager was exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming.
Perhaps, before criticizing, we should all do a little self-criticism.
I personally recommend it without a doubt.

LOVED the Calzones!
Very atmospheric, relaxed & friendly. A really lovely restaurant. Bread sticks on your table are not complementary, €2.50 but yummy! Definitely would recommend for a romantic meal or family with well-behaved kids. 5 star.
05/04/2026: A diet-focused Easter lunch.
After a two-hour wait, we left, only managing to eat appetizers. Evidently, the kitchen had some serious problems. All we had to do was let them know about the problem, and we would have changed venues...
Even the receipt was incorrect, with dishes counted but never arriving, so we had to ask for a correction. An Easter lunch we'll sadly remember...

15/10/2025: Excellent business lunch. The place is small, and if you're alone, you can share a table and chat, which is unusual these days. Appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, water, wine, and coffee. All good, for 13 euros. Where else can you find anything like it?

05/05/2026: The restaurant is somewhat hidden away in the narrow alleys. As a result, it’s not crowded, and the atmosphere is very peaceful, with a great terrace. The waiter was very friendly and did an excellent job. The appetizers, like all the pizzas we ordered, were outstanding. The portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. We’re thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

07/05/2026: The staff were very friendly; you could tell they worked with passion. The food was okay, but nothing special, and far too expensive! However, the location right on the water was fantastic.
04/05/2026: Speed and quality without ever losing their friendliness. We stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night, and the place was packed, but the owner found us a seat right away. Having a two-and-a-half-year-old, speedy service was important to us so he could eat according to his schedule, and I can say that the place fully met our needs: very short wait times, just a few minutes, both for the first courses and for the pizzas (in true Neapolitan style, truly delicious). Despite the place being packed, the staff managed to maintain excellent speed without ever losing their friendliness; they never failed to offer a smile or a kind word, so kudos to all the staff.
The prices are a little high, but completely in line with the restaurants in Peschiera del Garda.

16/05/2025: We had the misfortune of having dinner here. The lasagne was bland, watery and overcooked to the point of being mush, carbonara had turned into scrambled egg and the roast potatoes were soggy and cold. I expect everything was frozen and reheated in the microwave. I sent my lasagne back and staff then avoided our table for the rest of the meal, even when it was apparent that several dishes were untouched. They were indifferent when I mentioned the issues with the food. If I was the owner I would be extremely concerned that such poor standard of food is allowed to leave the kitchen as most of it was inedible.
17/04/2025: Ottimo per tutto! Cibo, Prezzi, Posizione! Ci torno sempre volentieri al Ristorante Pizzeria Vecchia Marina; Lo consiglio!
p.s. fanno anche un ulteriore sconto del 10% a chi alloggia all'attiguo Hotel Johnson ! (Ottimo Hotel che consiglio).

19/07/2025: A simple pizzeria that's also popular with locals. It's conveniently located right next to our RV parking area. We've always found the pizza delicious.
Unfortunately, it's been closed for at least four weeks for vacation, and there's no indication of when it will reopen.

02/12/2024: Capita talvolta di prendere tranci di pizza, ma è sempre mezza o anche 3/4 cruda. Immangiabile se non si completa la cottura a casa. Quindi è pesantissima pure sulla bilancia...
04/11/2024: Preso due pezzi di pizza 15x10 e fatti scaldare per mangiare per merenda sul posto. Uno dei due pezzi era crudo mentre l'altro mangiabile ma nulla di speciale. La pizza è stata pesata comprensiva di vassoio tovagli ecc ecc. Pagato 9 euro che sinceramente è sembrato eccessivo sia per quantità che per qualità.
Mai più ...meglio pendersi una pizza da asporto in una delle pizzerie vicine!

05/06/2025: Wish I'd have read the reviews before we visited this place. We were attracted to the lovely surroundings and were in need of a rest and a couple of drinks. Fortunately we didn't eat. When we paid at the end we were handed a receipt for 15euros which was more than the menu price however when I checked the credit card bill later they'd actually charged over £15 which must have been about 18 euros. The place is total rip off.

Personale menefreghista e non attento al bisogno del cliente.Io e un'amica abbiamo preso il fritto di Lago,ma mai visto cotto per intero dovendo farsi male con le lische senza averlo pulito! Sentendosi dire dal cameriere che dovevamo optare per un'altra cosa se non piaceva! "Finito (per dire)" il fritto non siamo state più considerate per un eventuale dolce/caffè o altro.
Cosa gravissima durante il pasto c'è stato un inconveniente di un insetto dentro un calice di vino pieno, il quale visto più volte dal solito cameriere, non è stato neanche chiesto se potevano cambiarlo o per lo meno non farcelo pagare dato che non è stato quasi consumato ne sostituito!! Prezzi esagerati e differenti dal menu scritto. Ultima cosa penosa è che l'insegna del ristorante in vista è "Pizzeria da Frank " anziché "Pizzeria Bounty"! Molto probabilmente per non poter scrivere recensioni di esperienze pessime come la nostra. Questo non è saper fare quel tipo di lavoro! Potessi dare -10 lo farei.

11/03/2025: Locale bello ed elegante, personale non troppo simpatico
Qualità del cibo molto mediocre, 11€ per una lasagna alla bolognese che era un’insulto alla vera lasagna. Pasta stracotta, sembrava una lasagna confezionata, anzi con le lasagne confezionate mangiate meglio e spendete sicuramente meno.
Per lo meno le porzioni erano abbondanti

03/11/2023: Buonissimo tutto mesu fisso a pranzo 12,50 ...tutto squisito il particolare la briciola (era un burro)ottimo...persone gentili e cucina fatta in casa.
22/10/2023: Schlechtes Essen und sehr teuer. Die Lasagne ist alt und nur Lauwarm der käse ist schon hart und die Nudeln sind schmierig und teigig. Ein Zeichen dafür, das diese Speise schon etliche male aufgewärmt war. Bei einer Pizza kann man ja nichts falsch machen, war aber auch nur mittelmäßig. Die Calamaris waren nicht knusprig.
