01/02/2025: We had a pretty bad time. The restaurant presents itself as simple, there were no high expectations, we simply wanted to eat well and did not expect any particular comfort. As a celiac, I asked the waitress if there were gluten-free options and she seemed quite inexperienced on the topic, so much so that she didn't even know that dairy products didn't contain gluten (it's 2025!). As an appetizer we chose two platters of cured meats and cheeses, both clearly purchased at the supermarket, (cheese platter €10, ONLY 1 TYPE OF CHEESE, without even a minimum of variety in the types of cheeses chosen, obviously not quality). The rest is normal, dumplings in broth and carne salada are edible but really nothing special, despite the not low prices. The "House dish", which should have contained polenta, cheese, mushrooms and sausage, really "sad", especially the cheese (which was the same and ONLY cheese from the platter previously proposed), which they didn't even bother to make to the plate. It's really a shame because the place inside is really nice and very welcoming. Conclusion: unfortunately this restaurant is not worth a visit except for a short stop if you are in the area. Otherwise don't stop.
