03/07/2026: Unfortunately, my experience wasn't very positive. I went with friends to try the fry day, a promotion the restaurant offers two Fridays a month. First, the menu structure isn't clear, and second, they made a lot of confusion with the order: - they brought the dessert before the frying, and when they brought it back at the end of the meal, they brought the same hot dessert (even though it was a parfait, it probably hadn't been remade); - they brought the drinks without glasses; - the fried food was placed in the center to be shared among everyone, but even though there were three of us, they only brought two dishes, and they also messed up the order by bringing less than we ordered. The staff was also nice and friendly, but at the end of it all, they didn't even ask us how the dinner went or how we enjoyed it. I'm sorry, but I don't think we'll have a second experience at this restaurant.

28/06/2026: The prices are quite high for what you get, with the Spritz being really watered down. The pizzas are very thin, averaging between €11 and €15. On the plus side, the staff is very friendly.

10/05/2026: The food consisted almost entirely of frozen products. The fish was dry and of poor quality. Taste-wise, the restaurant seemed to cater to tourists who have little understanding of Italian cuisine. The Italian waiter kept speaking to us in English even though we spoke to him in Italian. The only positives were the view of the lake and the cleanliness of the restaurant.

06/05/2026: The price-performance ratio is very good; whether fish/meat dishes or pizzas, everything is top-notch. See picture.

13/07/2026: We had a nice meal. We did notice that it is busier on this side of the lake, resulting in a lot of turnover among visitors. We arrived at 6:30 PM when it was still quiet, but after that, everything filled up. So, I would advise making a reservation if you want to come later.

11/07/2026: Hi everyone, I'm a bus driver who went to Al Pescatore with a group over the phone. They told me it was free, but then they charged me full price, even though I asked for the driver's discount, which most restaurants normally offer. Besides not having eaten well, I also had this experience. So, especially for bus drivers, avoid Al Pescatore in Calceranica al Lago.
