23/02/2026: We've been coming to Obereggen for skiing for 20 years. Unfortunately, the service at Platzl has declined over the past 3-4 years, but it was still acceptable because the food (especially the pizza) was good. Apparently, it's now more profitable to have the waiters standing around in groups at the bar with cool lounge music playing until guests serve themselves, rather than actively engaging with the customers. The food quality isn't what we used to be either. In the future, we'll gladly go somewhere else in the area, but not to Platzl again. What a shame!
