04/06/2026: Great location in a suburb of Livorno, away from the coastal road, with a lovely terrace next to the mini-golf course. The pizzas are highly recommended.

31/05/2026: We were there on May 28, 2026, as a group of four cyclists. The young woman who brought out the food simply ignored us. We then went inside and ordered at the counter and had to pay immediately. The food arrived in simple bowls and was nothing special in terms of quality. Overcooked meat and mushy pasta. Unfortunately, the pizzeria was the only open restaurant in town. I would have given it zero stars!

01/05/2026: We sat down here after a beautiful bike ride. The waitress, a girl, saw us but didn't come over. After 20 minutes, we asked if we could get something to eat. She said she would be right there, but struggled to get out. We waited another 20 minutes. She served the locals but completely ignored us. Maybe she didn't want cyclists in the place? Very bad. We will never come here again. I read more bad reviews about the young girl who serves there. A hospitality course might be a solution. After being ignored for 45 minutes, we just left.

11/08/2026: Absolutely wonderful, I'll be back whenever I can. Super attentive waiters and a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful view, well-ventilated and clean. 5 stars in everything!

10/08/2026: A decidedly negative experience at La Bussola pizzeria. We were a group and ordered 10 pizzas: a significant enough number to fully assess the quality of the service and cuisine. Unfortunately, the outcome was merciless. Most of the pizzas arrived burnt, with a tough, rubbery, and anything but palatable dough. The portions were quite small, and above all, the toppings lacked character: the ingredients were there, but it almost seemed as if no one had alerted us to their presence. But the real masterpiece was the service: most of the pizzas were left unsliced, despite our express request. Clearly, such a sophisticated request would put a pizzeria in serious difficulty. At this point, it's natural to wonder how pizzas are inspected before being served: because noticing that a pizza is burnt should be fairly simple, as should verifying that a customer's explicit request has been respected. Furthermore, one of these 10 had a hole almost as big as a crater in the center, and was served as such anyway. The location near the Ghiaie beach is certainly an excellent calling card. It's a shame that, once you step inside the restaurant's door, the sea view doesn't do much to enhance the experience. In conclusion, 10 pizzas, many burnt, hard and chewy dough, small sizes, barely discernible flavors, and a basic request that wasn't even met. A difficult combination to justify and even harder to reward with a positive review. Tourism can bring customers. The location can bring them in. But it's the quality that should convince them to return. We, personally, won't be returning.

16/07/2026: I ordered this pizza for takeout, and it arrived really quickly. I admit it's not the best pizza, but it was tasty and good, so it deserves three stars. Good value for money.
