16/06/2025: Walking past we saw a lot of people, mostly locals so we went in assuming it must be good. We took pizzas and they were delicious, tiramisu too. They also have pasta and seafood. Worth a visit.
16/06/2025: The shop is a bit off the beaten track. BUT: I'm not a pizza person, and thanks to La Lucerna, I've learned to love pizza and even prefer it to my coveted pasta. A friendly little chat with the owner, Emiliana, was included! We've been there three times. Both pizza and pasta are great!

29/07/2025: It was more local than a tourist place, which was a lot of fun to try. When we read the menu, there is the same word that appears in many of the dishes. When we finally look up the word we see it is a horse meat restaurant.. that was a big surprise and not something we are a fan of at all. So we won't go there again. But otherwise they were nice and good service.

18/07/2025: We were three people planning to dine at this establishment. Upon arrival, there was no one waiting, and we saw that at least two tables would soon become available. We asked a waitress if there was any availability, and without checking or offering an estimate, she simply told us they were full.
We decided to wait a bit in case a table became available. Later, we asked another waitress, who initially told us to wait, but upon consulting with the first, she again told us there was no room.
The most surprising thing was that shortly after, two groups arrived (one of three people and the other of two), and both were immediately assigned tables, while we continued to be denied without any explanation. We felt completely ignored and discriminated against for no apparent reason. It was an unpleasant and disappointing experience.
Edited to add that none of the groups that showed up had reservations.

La Grotta del Diavolo in Alghero is a real gem: excellent quality, always fresh ingredients, light and digestible dough. There is a huge variety of flavors, one better than the other.
The prices are really low, especially considering the level. The staff is made up of a team of young, kind and smiling guys, always available and fast.
And then the location is perfect: a stone's throw from the sea! Taking a couple of slices and eating them sitting on the seashore is a simple but truly satisfying experience.
Highly recommended. If you are in Alghero, you can't miss it.

29/07/2025: Ci ha stupiti la preparazione e l'attenzione dei camerieri per chi ha intolleranze o particolari necessità alimentari, che non è per niente scontato. Tutto ciò che abbiamo ordinato è stato ottimo, promosso a pieni voti e consigliatissimo. Consigliato due volte per chi ha particolari necessità e restrizioni alimentari.
Le porzioni sono abbondanti e i prezzi sono adeguati e proporzionati ad essi. Non ci siamo sentiti in una trappola per turisti ma, al contrario, abbiamo provato la cucina locale, tra cui la paella algherese, consigliatissima.
Bella la location, consigliato stare fuori se le temperature e meteo lo consentono.
27/07/2025: We had mixed experiences with the food. The burger was really good, and we finally got some protein. The mixed seafood dish was okay, but the mixed grilled meat plate was a mixed experience. My husband got a piece of meat that consisted of a large tendon and until they figured out what was wrong, we got an 8 euro discount. He also said the meat was tasteless and there was no dipping sauce. He thought it was bland and tasteless. It is a slightly more expensive restaurant. So all in all it was a mixed experience.

21/06/2025: We were attracted by the size of the pizza, but unfortunately the size did not translate into quality. The dough was hard and dry, the sausage on the pizza was just a regular sausage, which unfortunately spoiled its taste. Flying flies, although independent of the restaurant, also spoiled the atmosphere. Hence such an assessment.
11/06/2025: I would have liked to give more, but that's all I could afford.
The staff was very nice and friendly.
The pizza was just about OK.
The atmosphere was just okay, too.

22/07/2025: Nice outdoor seating but extremely bad food, completely tasteless! After we had sat down and ordered drinks they said that pizza cannot be ordered, and the pasta was a disaster! Completely tasteless lasagna and pasta, yuck and the waiters are constantly trying to get more money - no pizza, upselling coffee and drinks even though they see how dissatisfied we are with the food.
Worst restaurant experience in Italy
19/07/2025: I went to this restaurant last night with my partner and had a great time. The waiters were professional and the pizza was excellent. The place is also beautiful and clean. I'll definitely be back.

08/08/2025: At this restaurant, you can order five courses per person every eight minutes via their tablet. I was a little skeptical at first, but then I was convinced: super-fast service, no waiting for your dishes, everything arrives as soon as you order. Excellent organization. The food is really good and the staff is friendly. The prices are a little high, but perhaps in line with local restaurants.
07/08/2025: I was skeptical given some of the reviews. I went for lunch during a city tour and had a really good time. The atmosphere was casual but welcoming. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. The sushi was good, especially the temaki, which were amazing and had crispy seaweed. I thought the nigiri had too much rice, but I certainly couldn't complain about the quality of the fish. The Chinese dishes were good; it would be nice to have grilled dumplings at lunchtime, not just steamed ones.
Overall recommended.

08/08/2025: io e il mio fidanzato siamo stati in questo ristorante pochi giorni fa, abbiamo optato per un antipasto da dividere in un due per poi passare ad un secondo, di cui abbiamo annullato l’ordine immediatamente dopo aver aspettato precisamente 50 min, per un antipasto che includeva 5 specialità di mare dello chef, che volevamo assaggiare, e quando dice 5, intende 5 di numero, 5 cose sul piatto di cui un gambero con del bacon arrotolato (incommentabile), uno sputo di semplice polpo tagliato con un po’ d’olio, una polpetta centrale che sembrava di carne, due mini pezzi di pesce spada con della cosa gialla sotto, e una cosa bianca che sembrava mozzarella con due cipolle sopra, tutto ciò a 25€, che avrei capito, se fossimo stati avvisati che si trattava di un assaggio (ma onestamente neanche negli assaggi ti mettono un solo gambero), ma la cosa dai camerieri quando gli abbiamo chiesto il piatto non è stata specificata, né tanto meno era specificata nel menù, un furto, ci siamo alzati abbiamo pagato 30€ in tutto e ce ne siamo andati immediatamente, una vergogna.
