10/03/2026: I had dinner at Il Carbonaio and was very satisfied. I tried both the pizza and the pancotto, a typical dish from San Severo, and everything was truly delicious. The pizza was light and well-seasoned, while the pancotto was rich in flavor and prepared according to tradition. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service friendly. Recommended! 😊
01/03/2026: I'd consider this restaurant to specialize primarily in traditional dishes, which are very good. The appetizers and side dishes are tasty. Service is prompt and the quality/price ratio is good.

29/11/2025: What can I say? It was divine. The quality of the ingredients is top-notch, and the dishes are beautifully prepared. We had cardoncelli mushrooms (outstanding) and culatello for appetizers. For our first course, we had lorighittas with sheep's milk ragù and fregola with cheese, melon, and truffle. Guys, it was amazing, a 10! Next, we shared the braised goat meat; we didn't even need a knife. The house cake was delicious! Good luck, guys: I know you're hidden away, but then again, gems are hard to find!
We'll definitely be back.
17/11/2025: The place, the staff, the wonderful food. You feel pampered, but with great professionalism. The dishes are a revisitation of our typical dishes, reworked with great skill. The price is in line with what's offered. 10 out of 10.

17/03/2026: Delicious pizza, wide selection (all flavors + 1), and what I really appreciate is that whether you go during the week or on the weekend, the quality and friendliness are the same, unlike many other places. Whenever we want pizza, we come here. Highly recommended.
15/11/2025: The pizza is delicious, but it happens so often that we come in and leave empty-handed. Empty tables, and a sea of people at the counter that's slow to move. We need more support, especially on Saturdays and Sundays at the counter where the pizza is served.
A lump in my throat, because we long for that pizza, but the wait times are biblical, and we go elsewhere when that happens.

17/09/2025: An extraordinary takeout pizzeria. As for me, the Ortolana pizza is now on my regular menu, and it's truly delicious. Fresh ingredients, tasty and easy-to-digest dough, and friendly and helpful staff. A must-try.

18/08/2024: Abbiamo aspettato 50 minuti per 3 piatti di spaghetti et 1 pizza....le porzioni de spaghetti piccolissimi, anche la bimba di 5 anni aveva ancora fame. Piatti buoni, niente a dire, ma manca la gentilezza ( ni anche un piccol sorriso) e la rapida. 50 minuti per spaghetti.....e siamo arrivati primi

Prezzi accettabili, nel contesto tutto bene.
Parcheggio nei paraggi, siamo in centro.

18/07/2024: Tutta la loro produzione è di ottima qualità. Dal pane alla pizza, dai cornetti ai taralli. Peccato per il proprietario che a volte è scontroso. Anni fa era caratterialmente diverso. Ora devi stare attento altrimenti ricevi risposte che ti lasciano di stucco.
Un cliente in meno.
