10/08/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant, intrigued by their culinary philosophy. You'll find pizzas ranging from the most classic to the most sophisticated and innovative. A very warm welcome and an atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. The service is attentive, kind, with a touch of charm that never hurts. To start, we tried their thin and tasty farinata. Then we tried their famous "Soffio di Grano," a cloud that transports you to an explosion of flavor and emotion. You'll be surprised by the impact in your mouth: from crunchy to soft, and from soft to crunchy. Our choice fell on: LASAGNETTA: with the first bite, you can taste all the flavors of a Sunday lasagna. An enveloping fragrance and flavor. ANTICHI MEMORI: a bold yet delicate flavor that immediately takes you back to Piedmontese tradition. The vegetables and potato chips add that unique crunch. The ingredients are high-quality. It's not your average pizza, but an experience you absolutely must try.

17/08/2025: A truly positive experience! Excellent value for money. I never expected to eat so well in such a remote-looking place. It's also worth a trip from Turin, in my opinion.

10/08/2025: The pizza and farinata are amazing. The place is a bit small, but I usually order takeout. Plus, specifically for takeout, the pizzas (and the farinata) are packaged in aluminum containers that keep them freshly baked until they reach your home (and I don't live very close).

08/08/2025: Despite the small and crowded atmosphere, the farinata and pan pizza are exceptional, among the best I've ever had. I'm giving it "only" 3 stars because I would have appreciated a little more kindness from the owner. When customers come in, even if you're terribly busy with your work, a "Good evening" is the bare minimum. When you order two portions of farinata and only one arrives because there's no more ready at 8:20 PM, at least they apologize (plus, the second portion and the pizza arrived at the same time). 20/08/2025: Ordered on Deliveroo. I really appreciate vegan options, but that doesn't mean the pizza base has to be poor quality. The pizza started with a frozen base to speed up service, I'm sure; try it and believe it. Rubbery, pale, unleavened, and tasted like flour. I've eaten so many frozen pizzas that I'd recognize it with my eyes closed. It's fine at home on lazy evenings, but you can't serve it for €12 in a public place, passing it off as Neapolitan pizza. We're not there yet.

The Al Castello restaurant in Moncalieri is a true gem: a historic venue, expertly renovated, combining the charm of the past with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. The highlight is undoubtedly the new terrace, with an unparalleled view of the magnificent castle: the perfect spot for a charming dinner, especially on summer evenings. The menu is varied and well-curated, with carefully prepared meat and fish dishes, and a light, thin-crust pizza topped with quality ingredients—both local and international. The wine list is extensive and select, perfect to accompany every course. Special mention goes to the desserts, all homemade and truly unmissable! Another plus: the restaurant is open every evening, which is by no means a given. I highly recommend it for those seeking good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an unforgettable view.

14/08/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant for the first time to check out the great reviews I'd read. I admit I was surprised: the staff was polite and courteous, the menu was niche, with a wide selection and, above all, ingenuity in the preparation of the dishes. There was a vast and excellent selection of wines. The atmosphere was clean and well-kept, with a beautiful view of the city of Turin and the Moncalieri castle. I'll definitely be back. 👍
