22/05/2026: On a CAI outing, we stopped for a simple Merenda sinoira. The place is decorated in the style of a Piola mountain chalet. The dishes are delicious, simple, and original. Water, wine, and beer are plentiful. The table was carefully set, as if we were guests for a Sunday lunch. The cooking is by the kind owner, and the service is friendly and attentive, managed by her husband. He's also a small artisan of little houses and trinkets; ask to visit his workshop; he'll be happy to help.

02/05/2026: Above all the restaurateurs, Elena and Franco are two fantastic people who have reinvented themselves. The location is beautiful and very original. Elena's paintings are beautiful, and the food is excellent. We'll be back. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
