28/01/2025: What can I say, in short, the plain of the wolves is my favorite place! Excellent service, professional and kind, always delicious food, top meat, every now and then an off-menu option is available which I recommend. Suitable place for adults and children, always found very well whether you go to eat with friends or family. Located near the Selvapiana stadium in Campobasso, not too far to reach it, it is my trusted steakhouse. 5 stars deserved for the consistency, for years they have never let me down once. Advise.

07/12/2024: I'll tell you no matter what... talk to SILVIO or Pietro (owner brothers), sit down and eat the best of the home-made tradition of SAN Martino. Recommended, rustic home environment. If you go with God, Our Lady accompanies you. Plenty of seating and private parking.

18/02/2025: I was there on February 11, 2025, 1:00 p.m., RT 96IKN002505. The harmonious hotel complex is located in the middle of an industrial area that, obviously, does not offer any particular architectural interest. The restaurant is large and presents itself as a pleasant corporate structure, with green chairs, not very comfortable, presumably designed by an architect from the glorious and beloved IKEA. I had "taccozze with chickpeas and porcini mushrooms" (indeed an excellent recipe from the area in question) from the EEG slightly flat, moreover just overcooked. I then ordered a grilled scamorza with cherry tomatoes and salad, a bit anaemic. I did not manage to try the grilled, roasted meats etc., the restaurant's strong points, which I have heard a lot about. The final cost was normal, but the €2.50 cover charge did not thrill me. 31/12/2024: Eravamo un gruppo di 6 adulti e 3 bambini. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene personale molto cordiale, ci hanno anche offerto un contorno per i bambini. Vista incantevole, consigliatissimo. Prezzo super per la qualità offerta.

21/11/2024: The welcome wasn't great, even a little confusing especially with the menus, there were two of us and the menus showed the same dishes with different prices which didn't go down well with me and the waiter tried to justify himself or rather to justify someone otherwise in vain, service a little distracted, courses served a bit haphazardly, food just enough...expectations were very different given that getting there wasn't very easy...

09/02/2025: We went for a family lunch, we had a great time, everything was excellent and of good quality, the staff and owner were very kind and very helpful. Excellent value for money.

14/01/2025: Show! We enjoy a refined and very, very well prepared lunch in complete relaxation, this beautiful Easter. I must compliment the chef for the dishes that are well incorporated together in the name of seasonality: artichokes, asparagus, lamb accompanied by such kindness and familiarity (and excellent red wine :)

The menu offers typical dishes of the Molise tradition, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. Very good pizza. The staff very friendly and helpful. I found the quality-price ratio excellent: the portions were generous and the prices absolutely honest.

25/01/2025: We ordered 1 kg of meat at the price of €8 per hectogram. We were informed that, due to cutting issues, it was possible to prepare only 700 grams of that meat, and that the remaining part would be compensated with another quality, again at the price of €8 per hectogram. Upon delivery, however, we received 1.4 kg of meat divided as follows: - 800 grams of a third quality of meat, different from that agreed upon as a replacement, with a price of €14 per hectogram which we discovered only at the time of the bill; - 600 grams of the meat initially chosen. The problem is that we expected the replacement meat to have a price similar to that initially agreed (€8 per hectogram), but this was not the case. This lack of price transparency has compromised the relationship of trust with the customer. The quality of the meat was unquestionably excellent, but transparency and respect towards the customer are essential. In the event of modifications or replacements, it would have been correct to clearly communicate the new prices to avoid misunderstandings and guarantee a relationship of trust. The total cost for 2 people was €186, including meat, a carpaccio, a sautéed chicory and a bottle of water.

Fanno piatti di terra e di pesce e la sera aggiungono anche le pizze. Adatto anche per piccole cerimonie. Personale gentile e cortese e ci hanno accolto anche senza prenotazione. Buon rapporto qualità /prezzo

01/01/2025: Prenotato qui per caso, perché non conoscevo. Locale sempliciotto e nulla di che; servizio molto lento ed improvvisato; cibi senza arte ne' parte e scarsa qualità del pesce...in molte portate puzzava ed in ogni portata sempre le solite vongole e cozze piccine cucinate allo stesso modo. Mi dispiace...mi auguro davvero che io abbia beccato la giornata sfortunata, altrimenti... Soldi buttati!
