31/12/2024: Hidden gem in Cerrnobio. It is called bar, but it should be classified as small restaurant. Spaghetti alle vongole probably the best I ever had. Parmigiana also worth to try. Amazing tiramisu. Good vine and great service. We will be back.
29/12/2024: Typical Italian village restaurant. Actually you shouldn't write a review because otherwise too many tourists would come and ruin the atmosphere. The service is super nice. Menu small but nice. If you want cheap food, you have to go somewhere else. The quality is excellent. Difficult parking situation. If you live in Cernobbio, it's better to walk up the narrow streets.

16/02/2025: The pizza is good, with light dough and quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxed. Prices are average for the area, so it's good for a quiet evening without spending too much. In summer, the outdoor area is a nice plus. Overall, a great choice if you're looking for a place without too many frills but with good food and a pleasant atmosphere
13/02/2025: We went to this cozy restaurant for our 15th wedding anniversary. Excellent first courses including the exquisite Valtellina pizzoccheri. Very accurate service. A special thank you to the owner Armando and his staff. We will be back very soon!!! Manuela and Gianni (Mantua)

01/03/2025: They charged me 16 euros for a tiny piece of aubergine and lied to me that they didn't have the dish I asked for. The prices are ridiculous and the portions are small. In my opinion, if they see that someone is not Italian, they try to screw you badly. I will never go back! Make fun of your children and relatives, not me!

28/10/2024: We are so thankful for Hotel Riviera! Long story: my wife & I were driving a rental car along Tremezzo area, when we encountered two flat tyres at 12 midnight! Called the towing service, and they said they can only tow the next day since it was a Sunday. So we were basically stuck the whole night, and our b&b was at the other side of the lake (1hr 30 minutes drive). We had to scramble for a overnight stay. In desperation, we went to every hotel along the road to find a last minute accommodation, until we found Hotel Riviera. We rang the intercom and the owner, Andrea answered. Thankfully he is fluent in English. Even though he was already getting ready to sleep, he offered us a room for the night. Room is cosy, bed is comfortable & the toilet had heated flooring after a good shower!
The next day, we met Andrea in the breakfast area. Andrea & his dad are one of the sweetest & kindest people we met in our Italy trip! He prepared breakfast for all his hotel guests. He happened to be friends with the towing person! He even helped to coordinate with him so that we can have our breakfast before heading to the towing spot. We are just so glad that we survived this situation & thankful for Andrea & his dad!
1 star for the rental car. But 5+ stars for Hotel Riviera! HAHA

01/10/2024: After a long walk around the lake, we enjoyed a double espresso with a stunning view of the water, accompanied by the charming chimes of bells from a beautiful nearby church. The staff went above and beyond, lighting a fire for our outdoor heating and providing warm blankets, allowing us to savor the classic Italian scenery in comfort. It was a perfect moment of warmth and beauty. Thank you !

-Ambience=bar stool cardboard lid and plastic fork
You should definitely prefer take-away here
Price-performance ratio is also very good: 4 star overall rating
23/11/2024: Ordered pizzas and calzone on the spot, the incorrect total of €10 more, and then the surprise once home of discovering that inside the calzone there was an imperceptible veil of ham. Shame! One ⭐️ is really too much!!
