27/10/2024: Papillo está cerca de nuestra casa de vacaciones en Carintia. Es solo un fácil 20 minutos en coche como mucho. Hemos visitado Papillo durante muchos años, excepto durante el susto de la corona, cuando viajar era difícil o simplemente imposible. En un momento dado en este marco de tiempo hubo un cambio de gestión y personal, que notamos cuando viajar a Austria e Italia fue posible de nuevo. Afortunadamente este cambio tuvo un impacto mínimo en la calidad de las pizzas y después de un período para adaptarse al nuevo personal y la producción estamos encantados de visitar Papillo de nuevo. Buena pizza, precios razonables, servicio rápido del personal y amplio aparcamiento frente al restaurante. Un punto negativo esta vez fueron los horarios de apertura erráticos. En una ocasión llegamos a una puerta cerrada cuando el restaurante debería estar abierto. No hay aviso en la puerta. -Nada. Al día siguiente pasamos por el restaurante casi a la misma hora y estaba abierto. Y sé muy bien que el restaurante está cerrado el jueves. Así que ahí está. Horas de apertura erráticas.

19/02/2025: Location carina ma prezzi troppo alti. Pizze secche e non a livello. Purtroppo non consiglio. Aggiungo, nuovamente purtroppo, lo sgradevole puzzo di un paio di camerieri, probabilmente pakistani. Nulla contro ma...un po' di sapone e un normale deodorante avrebbero sicuramente evitato il tutto.

27/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati solo a pranzo confidando nelle buone recensioni e abbiamo fatto bene! Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene e ulteriore nota positiva, anche il caffè era ottimo! Le ragazze sono molto gentili e attente nonostante il locale molto pieno.

02/01/2025: Piacevole sorpresa. Cenone di capodanno con due amici, mi sono trovato molto bene, mangiato benissimo, gentilezza e professionalità del personale ottima, locale carino, i miei amici anche loro sono rimasti molto soddisfatti. Abbiamo preso due piatti friulani ( ottimi), patate in teccia ( ottime), tiramisù pure strepitosi e pasta con i funghi anche ottima. Mangiato benissimo. Abbiamo speso 45 euro a testa, economico per capodanno, buon prezzo. Sicuramente ci torneremo. Continuate così. 😃

10/09/2024: Even if there is little parking space, in fact you park along the road there are a couple of tables in the small square where you can enjoy good pizzas with beer if you are satisfied it's not bad and the village isn't very busy so it can be done...

07/12/2024: Gigi's pizza is fabulous, because it is good, digestible and tasty: the calzone, then, is a must try at all costs! The place is a dive into the 80s: Black truffle drowned in coffee, for dessert. Super recommended!

18/01/2025: Wir essen seit vielen Jahren in diesem Restaurant und waren immer von der riesigen und teuren Platte mit Fisch, Meeresfrüchten und Hummer begeistert. Aber dieses Jahr (Juli 2024) waren wir sehr enttäuscht, vor allem vom Hummer, er entsprach nicht der vorherigen Qualität. Es fühlte sich an, als ob das Hummerfleisch erst herausgenommen, zu einer Pastete verarbeitet und wieder zurückgelegt wurde. Es ist eine Schande, ein so minderwertiges Produkt für so viel Geld zu erhalten. Die Bedienung war ganz gut.

30/09/2024: Locale turistico ma con una buona cucina. Menu ampio, propone sia pizze che piatti tradizionali. Tutto buono, veramente ottimi gli spaghettoni all'Astice, peccato che nel menu non fosse indicata la piccantezza che ha creato qualche difficoltà. Prezzi accettabili e in linea con la concorrenza della zona. Unico problema l'affollamento, forse perchè era domenica. Il locale era strapieno nonostante i tavoli talmente vicini che i camerieri stentavano a passare, il consguente vociare era al limite del sopportabile.

12/03/2025: The best restaurant in Lignano!! Top service - I've been a guest for many years and the waiters remember you. Excellent selection of dishes, generous portions, and all requests are met. Very large restaurant, always quite busy, but you don't have to wait long for a table, food, etc. Children and pets are always welcome. Also possible for very large groups. Absolutely clean, well-appointed location, always a little bit new. An experience worth having!! And to all those who speak negatively about the restaurant - what goes around comes around.

15/11/2024: Been going there to eat and see since 1990.... I would recommend others to stay at Aldi or Frosta and for service you are better off at McDonalds!!!

08/04/2025: Even though there are few people, the pizza doesn't arrive and we also had to ask if they would give us drinks. They didn't add potatoes to my pizza and they exchanged a carnica without dried tomatoes for a friend of mine with a friarielli.

07/04/2025: The place is exactly the same, no improvements but other than that the pizza was raw inside but burnt underneath. Another sore point is the owner, I assume she is the owner, very unhelpful, not a smile and in the end if I hadn't said hello not even goodbye and thank you. It doesn't work like that... no. I hope me a NO!!!!

18/01/2025: Mrs. Maria Pia (the older one) calls the nicest people nice guys but the last time I went I didn't like it very much because I wanted the reddest pizza possible, but instead it was white even though I asked. "PAID THE SAME !!!" This time; I don't see myself doing this to nice people
