05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles. The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.

01/03/2026: Recommended! I stopped by chance for lunch on a Sunday with three other people. We ordered two salads and two pizzas. Excellent food! The pizza is large, well-topped, and thin-crust. The service is friendly and fast. I would return to try the pasta dishes as well.

14/09/2025: The pizza is good but not exceptional. I ordered Leggera with extra buffalo mozzarella and didn't notice any difference from a mozzarella fiordilatte. The dough is good but doesn't stay soft like a classic Neapolitan pizza.

They served both pizza and seafood and meat dishes. The pizza isn't Neapolitan, but it's not thin and crispy either. It wasn't the best I've ever had, and the prosciutto was so salty it was unpleasant. However, I'll be back to try the restaurant's dishes, as they look very inviting.

04/03/2026: Unfortunately, I have to change my review to a negative one. Previously, upon arrival, the table already had welcome appetizers: seasoned black olives, battered zucchini, and fried bread balls, which were very nice. Now, they've only kept the fried bread balls. I think that since they decide to offer such a free service, it doesn't make sense to reduce the service later if you obviously lose points. Either you don't do a gesture from the start, or it's unfair to reduce it as time goes by. The pizzas are truly gigantic, very thin, nothing to complain about; they're very good. It's a shame they took the homemade cheesecake off the menu, which was delicious. Last time, however, we had the millefeuille, which was even too big, but we didn't really like it because it was very dry and made your mouth feel sticky. They offer digestifs—limoncino, melon, and licorice liqueur—brought directly to the table in glass bottles, so you can drink as much as you want. However, I've noticed that between lunch and dinner, the service is less attentive in the evening. At lunchtime, it's better. However, the last time we went there for dinner, it was rather slow and distracted. Our water wasn't brought long after we'd ordered it, our drinks were even brought first, and the chili pepper oil for our pizza took so long that it almost made no sense to use it anymore, given that it was running out. A disappointment.

17/01/2026: I've been coming to this place since I was little, and it's always been a sure thing. The owner, Nadia, is wonderful: kind, welcoming, and always available. She truly makes you feel at home. Over the years, the place has improved steadily: since they added burgers, first courses, and second courses, it's become even more complete. Everything is delicious; you can taste the quality and passion for what they do. And then the desserts... they're out of this world 😍 The one with strawberries, custard, and whipped cream is simply incredible: beautiful to look at and even better to eat. A place I recommend to everyone, perfect for both lunch and dinner with friends. I always love coming back 💛

18/12/2025: Since we unfortunately only got here via a very adventurous detour, we didn't have time to enjoy the restaurant's delicacies. The service was very friendly and the staff seemed quite surprised by our route. Apparently, there were other options besides the very narrow and steep forest paths, which were currently undergoing extensive logging and felling work. The coffee was excellent, the bruschetta superb, and everyone was very friendly.

17/02/2026: ⭐⭐⭐✨ (3.5/5) I've been to this place several times for lunch with colleagues. The place is large and spacious, suitable for both quick business lunches and dinners with friends. The service has always been good: friendly staff and reasonable service times, even when it's busy. The menu is varied: they serve pizza, first courses, and second courses, so there's a wide selection. I think I even saw a lunch menu for around €16 with a first course, second course, and side dish (I didn't check it out because I almost always order pizza). The pizza is good, but there's one aspect I personally don't like: the "basic" version, the cheapest one, is actually a crispy schiacciatina (it's not clearly stated). You can also order a "thick" pizza, which is more like a traditional pizza, but for an extra charge. In my opinion, other places offer a pizza like that as a standard option and at a slightly lower price. Last time, I had a deep-dish pizza and a Coke, and I paid €18—a bit above average for lunch. The location is strategic (near Via Emilia), although parking isn't always easy to find, but that's understandable given the busy area. Overall, I've always had a good experience, both in terms of service and food quality. The only thing that makes me slightly lower my rating is the pizza and the final price. Otherwise, a positive experience.
