Even though I'm lactose intolerant, the atmosphere was welcoming, the food excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. If you want to eat well 🍴, I highly recommend this restaurant.
05/01/2026: I visited Pagus restaurant for a company dinner, and the experience was overall pleasant, especially regarding the quality of the food and the informal atmosphere. Pagus presents itself as a restaurant suited to evenings with friends, without too many pretensions, ideal for a quick bite to eat or a convivial get-together with colleagues.
The menu offered for the evening was fairly classic but well executed. The seafood appetizer was a traditional selection, simple yet tasty, with well-presented products and balanced flavors. Next, we sampled the seafood parcels, a first course with a flavorful and well-blended sauce that satisfied most of the diners. The pasta was cooked just right, and the sauce was pleasant, without being overpowering.
The second course was the fried shrimp and calamari, dry and crispy, a sign of well-made fried food. The portions were adequate, and the dish proved a perfect light yet satisfying end to the dinner.
The service was friendly and reasonably quick, despite the large crowd, and the atmosphere was welcoming and informal, perfect for a group dinner. Overall, Pagus is a restaurant that focuses on traditional seafood cuisine, without experimentation, but with an honest and enjoyable menu. A recommended place for those seeking a quiet evening, good food, and company, especially for business or social occasions.

08/12/2025: I had a reservation for 9 PM, but still had to wait 20 minutes for a table. It's Saturday, so be it. The fried food was good, nothing special. The pizza was average, and the saltimbocca was to be avoided. The waiters were in a panic and didn't even know what kind of pizza they were serving. Average, nothing special. Too crowded for a small place, so much so that as soon as we finished eating, we were asked to leave our table immediately to accommodate those still waiting outside at midnight. The price paid was much higher than average for what we ate.
06/12/2025: Nothing special, no parking and a particular atmosphere. If you can avoid it, avoid it.

10/01/2026: By chance, on Saturday lunchtime, I remembered that old pizzeria on the Somma ring road. As soon as we entered, I realized everything had changed, and for the better.
The atmosphere was tastefully decorated, warm, and welcoming. The waiter who welcomed us was friendly and offered excellent recommendations. The lunch was quality, and the prices were in line with the restaurant's style. Looking around, we noticed they also offered pizza for lunch, strictly Neapolitan, wood-fired. The owner was very kind, and it was a pleasure to exchange a few anecdotes about the Christmas decorations.
We'll gladly return.

27/07/2025: Abbiamo chiamato delle pizze da asporto, pizze senza pretese, due margherite , una marinara e una diavola. Pizza un po' gommosa, forse sarà il caldo oppure l'asporto, ma non credo sia una giustificazione. Cibo un po' dozzinale nulla di nuovo, tutto somma(vesuviana)to a diavola er bon. Nella media. Purtroppo a Somma e dintorni non vi sono alternative valide. Pizza solo da ordinare perché ci si scoccia di cucinare.

21/06/2025: Sono stato varie volte in questa pizzeria, ho assaggiato crocche' e fritattine ( migliori mai mangiati) , le pizze poi sono veramente il top.
C'è ne sono una grande varietà, prodotti buoni e freschi.
Purtroppo è solo una pizzeria d'asporto, ci sono solo pochi tavoli per poter mangiare sul posto .
08/04/2025: Arrivato da Reggio Calabria per motivi lavorativi mi fermo in questa pizzeria sita in periferia di Napoli a Somma Vesuviana , gente educata , pizzaiolo o proprietario davvero versatile abile col forno a legna , abbiamo mangiato 2 Bufaline Davvero ottime , da far invidia al mondo , complimenti vivissimi , lo consiglio a tutti
