05/11/2025: Luigi is a good host and master of the art, thoroughly describing his dishes and wine pairings. The three stars, rather than four, are due to the complete lack of tablecloths and the fact that I had to ask for cutlery to share some shared dishes with other diners. Even a simple white table runner, given the presence of a cutlery rest and the price, would prevent the (black) tables from being covered in fingerprints! Good luck, Luigi; you're already good, but you can still improve.

03/11/2025: The Best Pizza Ever: An Experience Worth Repeating!
The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely courteous.
The dough is light as a cloud, with a honeycomb crust and a delicious texture: the ingredients are the real difference.

13/11/2025: Hi, I can only comment on customer service or the reservations service. I tried to book on the website, but the maximum number of people is 8. There are 10 of us. So I tried calling, but after 20 minutes of a recorded voice, I gave up. I contacted them on WhatsApp, and I felt like they were offering me lunch. At this point, I prefer the Castellammare seafront, where good seafood is plentiful. If you stop by, I'll offer you lunch; you always find a place at our table.

11/10/2025: There were four of us this evening, two gluten-free and two regular ones. The food was delicious for both of us, with sensational fried foods. They allowed us to choose the pizza menu even though it was Saturday. Excellent value for money, fast service, and very friendly staff. Exceptional pizza. The only negative aspect, 100%, was the noise from the diners, but that's understandable on a Saturday night and with a line outside the restaurant to be served, perhaps because we didn't book. We didn't have to wait even a minute, having booked yesterday.
11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant tonight. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly, and the gluten-free food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fried food is sensational, and the gluten-free pizza is absolutely delicious and richly topped. Excellent value for money. (Appetizers include supplì, crocche, and pasta frittata, ortolani pizza, beer, mineral water, and Fernet for €25.)

The crispy fried frittata was delicious, the obligatory "S. Gennaro" hat was inexplicable, plus the two friendly and courteous girls at the tables. They were served and gone in half an hour with the pizzeria full.
I've been to many well-known pizzerias where you have to queue for hours, but often it's the name, not the quality of the food. In this case, 5 stars aren't enough...see you soon 😉

19/11/2025: Diego Vitagliano's pizzeria offers a truly excellent experience: the pizza is exquisite, made with top-quality ingredients that enhance its flavor and texture. The service is also excellent, attentive and fast despite the high traffic. The only drawbacks are the difficulty in finding parking and the lengthy wait to get in, but this is a sign of the restaurant's great popularity. Overall, a must-try for lovers of truly quality pizza.
16/11/2025: This is one of those pizzerias I regret never having been to before. Aside from the quality of the ingredients and the incredibly light dough, the place seats a lot and yet isn't noisy because it's frequented by good people. The waiters are incredibly kind and fast. Parking is either on the street with blue lines, or a little further on, 50 meters away, there's a free parking lot for the pizzeria, with a tip for the valet (who's also very kind, just like at the pizzeria 😊).

The major renovations have taken away a bit of its family feel. It's a shame.
09/11/2025: Recently renovated place. Very nice, clean and welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent service. We went on a Saturday evening (reserved table) and didn't have a single wait. The pizzas were really good! Soft, light, easy to digest and made with quality ingredients. Antonio, the pizza chef, is truly a professional! Here you can choose the dough that's best for you! This is the secret and it's what makes the difference! Really well done! P.S. The parking is a plus.

We can't understand the other reviews about "arrogant waiters" or "mediocre food"!
The food was prepared extremely quickly! Other countries could learn a thing or two from that.
The "arrogant waiters" thing must be coming from customers who have probably never had a good meal in Italy, or only in Venice or somewhere like that, where the waiters kiss your ass for a lot of money.
This restaurant and its staff are 100% authentic!
The limoncello is also very, very delicious!

The appetizers were all good, the first courses were average, nothing special, the fried shrimp and calamari were good, and the dessert was delicious. 😋 I expected more. Still, it's worth recommending.

01/04/2025: Trovandomi a passare voglio provare questa pizzeria. Vengo avvisato che c’è una comitiva danese e la sala dentro non era molto tranquilla. Opto per la veranda e da subito chiedo di accendere una stufa a fungo. Il proprietario ci serve subito per non far aspettare troppo(👍) anche perché ha poco personale. Fritti ottimi, pizza nella norma anche se l’avrei preferita più cotta. Il “problema” è che nonostante le mie insistenze non accedevano il fungo (chiesto 5 volte)e a fine serata la sig.ra / cameriera ha esclamato in modo ironico: “fa freddo??” Al conto, senza fare polemica, mi fanno risparmiare qualcosa e chiede scusa per la mancanza. Per me questa è professionalità… un bel po’ meno da chi deve accontentare la sala.
16/02/2025: Today, Goddess of Fortune unfolded. Terrible service. A lady was taking orders without any idea what was going on. She looked like she was just passing by, completely incompetent. The problems started with the appetizers after a long wait. If the meatballs require 6 pieces, why

The pizzas, the dough is always good, but... one pizza had a hair on it... disgusting... one arrived wrong, the other was an unwanted mini. We've been customers for years, but after today I don't think I'll go back. They didn't even apologize.
It's a shame, sometimes on a bad day it's better to close and waste the day, rather than lose customers.
