12/03/2026: Fantastic staff make this place perfect for your stay in pompeii. The reception staff are so helpful and the breakfast team so friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again just for the attentive service. The only down sides being the poor electrical points in the bedroom which we could not get our electrical appliances to work in, and this included the hotel room kettle, the non working fridge which meant that I could't keep my medication cold, the lack of balcony furniture and tepid "hot" water in the shower. This is a shame as the wonderful staff really put their hearts into making your stay an experience which you will not forget. The hotel is sited opposite the archeology site and there are transport links to other places close by.

10/03/2026: Fantastic location, opposite the entrance to the excavations. Very convenient private parking. Breakfast was adequate, but the cappuccino was truly tasteless, both from the bar and the vending machine. The fruit juice was the same. The desserts are standard—pies and donuts, but no local products (no sfogliatelle, cannoli, etc.). Only plain croissants. Single-serving packaged jams and off-brand yogurt, only plain. Bread, but no toaster. Maple syrup, but no pancakes. Small room with a tiny bathroom, with broken tiles and exposed grout. Small TV. Very comfortable bed. Are you sure it's a 4-star hotel? Thank you for your kind reply. But from your booking confirmation email, which I've attached, we had booked a standard double room, not an economy one. We also paid for the two small bottles of water, which were the only items in the minibar. This has never happened in a 4-star hotel, or at least without being notified at check-in. Thanks again for your consideration.

07/04/2026: We spent 4 days in Pompeii, and after eating here, we immediately booked again. Excellent food, and above all, very plentiful. Attentive and friendly staff. Dogs were welcomed with love. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

16/03/2026: Easily accessible from the Piazza del Santuario, this family-run restaurant boasts extremely friendly staff. The kitchen offers various fixed-price menus, as well as inviting pizzas and exquisite desserts! Also recommended because they allow small dogs!

22/02/2026: We discovered this place today. The welcoming smile of the lady in the dining room, the well-kept, clean, and welcoming atmosphere. The food was good, freshly cooked, and of high quality. Genovese cuisine cooked with love. Flavorful, crispy, and dry fried food. Dishes presented with taste and passion by the kind gentleman in the kitchen, whom we even complimented. If you're in Pompeii, it's on the side street next to the sanctuary. Just a two-minute walk. I recommend it! We'll be back.

22/03/2026: My sister made a reservation for six people at the beginning of the month for the neomelodic evening on March 21st. We followed the instructions posted on the poster. We contacted the WhatsApp number listed for entry at 11 pm with drinks and were told we'd been put on a list. We went there and discovered they wouldn't let us in because they only reserved for those who had booked a table. We were teased, told "wait, let's see what we can do." After we'd booked, they left us outside without even warning us that they no longer accepted lists. Unprofessional and untrustworthy.

15/03/2026: It's a shame the minimum rating is one star. The waiters were extremely unfriendly, snubbing customers and responding rudely. The food was exorbitantly priced: €35 for a dinner menu featuring a single appetizer consisting of bruschetta, a small pancake with ricotta, and a slice of prosciutto. Afterwards, you could choose between a pizza, a first course, or a second course. The pizzas with buffalo mozzarella were extremely salty, watered down, and tasteless. One of the guests ordered paccheri pasta for the first course and received a portion of just eight paccheri in total (probably equivalent to about 40–50 grams of pasta), which were also overcooked and completely flavorless. The second course consisted of a tagliata (for a €5 surcharge) or a pork dish with potatoes, but again, the portions were microscopic. To top off the evening, the venue was caught in checks by the NAS and the police, presumably to verify compliance with safety regulations and the quality of the food. As a result, the live music event featuring singer Sonia Mosca was canceled. When we went to pay, however, they still demanded the full price of the menu, regardless of the à la carte menu, telling us, "It's not our fault the inspectors arrived." Dear So Zen restaurant owners: Official inspections shouldn't cause any problems or fear if everything was truly in compliance with normal food and structural safety regulations. And it's not right that customers should pay for your mistakes. Absolutely avoid this venue.
